I've never heard of this movie before, but once I saw Ray Liotta was in it, I was happy to give it a try and I'm glad I did. This was actually a pretty good movie! It gets better and better as it goes on, it has a good story line and plenty of action to keep you engaged! RIP Ray you were one of a kind!

I first saw this movie in early 2000's, I had no idea it came out when it did but I loved Ray Liotta and when the movie was over I loved it too. It was the first time I saw RL in an action movie where he's the star. I loved it and wish I would have seen him in another action movie, he plays the role well.

I liked No Escape. It wasn't what I originally expected but it has that great 80's action movie feel to it even though it's a 90s film. It hurt a bit seeing Ray Liotta since he passed away. Great actor, he will be missed. Lance Henriksen is also another great actor in this film that doesn't get enough credit and I've always been a fan of Ernie Hudson especially in Sugar Hill and The Crow. Stuart Wilson as Marek is absolutely hilarious in this film. I haven't seen a lot of his films but I'd hope he was able to play a villain in other projects because he was awesome here. Kevin Dillion is a good actor but his character in No Escape was annoying and ultimately unnecessary. Enjoyable film.

With all that being said, I did not like the ending. I love what happened to the Warden and the traitor, but we never got to see if the mission to expose the island was successful. Technically, the chopper could have been shot down once it became clear it went rogue. Also, the security for the Insiders was absolutely terrible. Some really bad writing there. Having a wall with a few towers doesn't mean much when you have no sentries in the surrounding forest. Marek was able to literally march his army undetected under the shadow of night almost up to the Insider's front door because the sentry towers couldn't see into the dark forest. Regardless, still an enjoyable film.

I've been a movie buff for years and I remember back in 1994 seeing this movie poster in the window of a video store I passed while on the school bus on my way home and telling my dad when I got home "we have to see this!" LOL! I remember the poster had Liotta holding up the gun and seeing Ernie Hudson in the back, knew it was destined to be good!! First time I saw this was November 1994 on VHS!!! 😂😂
I have to say watching this as an adult that Stuart Wilson's character in this movie is awesome! Had some very good one liners and he always played a good bad guy! Lethal Weapon 3 anyone?? 😎😎

I'm a little disappointed that they put Ernie Hudson so far down in the credits. He was the last of the main characters to be listed. Right before they listed the bad guys goons. What a shame he gets so little accreditation for all the awesome roles he has had. Ghostbusters, the Crow, and this big movie. Forever underrated. He belongs at the top. Everyone loves him in every movie he is in.

Love it. It's actually a really decent movie. Kinda in the begining you are left with WTF is going on and why is so and so being dropped off in the junle and what not.

The villian in this movie is so charismatic though. The one that leads the gangs. He's got such a nice and civil peronality but then goes nuts when need be. It's refreshing because you know he isn't an idiot like most villians or just pure rage all the time.

Any movie with Ray Liotta in it is good. It's also interesting to see how a movie, made in 1994, accurately predicted what 2022 would look like. The futuristic stuff was way off. We don't have those high-speed trains, or that futuristic super prison, or that type of weapon that Ray steals from the Outsiders. There was a war going on in 2011 but it was in Afghanistan and not Libya. Interesting enough, they made Ray a US Marine. In the opening scene where they are marching in formation, you can spot the USMC flag in the lead. Regarding the movie, I couldn't help but think that they stole a few ideas from the "Lord of the Flies" movie.

This movie recieved bad reviews back when this came out. Liotta was awesome and so was this movie. They hated on it because it came out during the time of your waterworlds and postman with kostner that are similar. Actually pretty close to the same. They were pumping this genre out left and right. The die hard era. Its alot more then just a run of the mill 90s movie. It got a bad rap but i understand why.

They goofed up the thumbnail and the details! Must be that there's another movie with the same name, starring Pierce Brosnan, Owen Wilson, and Lake Bell, from 2015.

I thought it was odd to start a 2015 movie with some 90s-lookin' text preface, about how the upcoming main film was going to be about a future dystopia that was only then 7 years away...
But it is interesting how close are you they were, anyway, about the private, for-profit prisons. They're a horrible idea, with such obvious, major conflicts of interest, it's always been clear that only a corporate-run dystopia would actually use them!

RIP Ray Liotta aka Henry Hill from Goodfellas. Dam the 90s was a awesome era for action film's. Cgi has ruined action movies among other things. You just can't beat the awesome stuntmen of the 70's, 80s and 90s. Even the early 2000s was still very good but now not at all. The one exception is the John Wick franchise. That's one franchise I enjoyed so far but that's really it

Just watched rampage with the Rock. Extremely over the top,yet rife with Schwarzeneggeresque one liners. I enjoyed it CGI- et al 🍄🇺🇲🍄🔥🍄🌍🍄

Rampage was actually kinda fun. I agree tho with the original comment. I miss the old school action movies like predator, die hard, even tho he sucks seagals hard to kill, the last boy scout, lethal weapon, the crow and so many more I can't even remember all the awesome actions movies I've seen

First saw this movie like 15 years ago but of course it was already old. It honestly looks like it was half-dated when it came out. There's also a lot of nonsensical and confusing stuff, it's really not a great movie. And yet, I've always loved it. I think it's one of those movies that are just so off-beat that they are better than they deserve to be.
