The band consists of Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir (vocals, guitar), Ragnar Þórhallsson (vocals, guitar), Brynjar Leifsson (guitar), Kristján Páll Kristjánsson (bass), Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson (drums) and the former member Árni Guðjónsson (keyboards, accordion), who left the band in 2012. The band released their debut album "My Head Is an Animal" in September 2011. The album's single "Little Talks" peaked at #1 in Iceland, and became successful in the United States after extensive airplay on Philadelphia rock station WRFF and subsequent word of mouth. In April 2012 the tune became their first entry on the US singles chart, when it entered the Billboard Hot 100 at #92.

They released further albums, Beneath The Skin in 2015 and Fever Dream in 2019.

when i hear this song i am reminded of that old saying, " their bark is worse than their bite". To me what is implied is that these wolves may be unable to physically hurt you but their words tear through you. you wouldn't be running from their bites, but their words and words hurt more than any physical injury can. an injury may leave a physical scar but the initial pain and damage is repaired, but sometimes emotional damage lasts a lifetime and never fades or goes away. so in essence a wolf without teeth's best weapon is their words not their bite.

A wolf is also an old slang term for a person who is aggressively chasing women in a bad way and also for anyone disguising themselves as a friend when they are really a foe. "wolves in sheep's clothing" is also one saying that reflects this and "the wolves of wall street" meaning that someone is money hungry enough and ruthless and will do anything to climb the cooperate ladder. so it basically means that sometimes what appears to be friendly can be actually massively destructive.

Personally, I feel that this song is about commitment and trust and how they can be such terrifying and beautiful things when it with the right person. There is a chance the filming was made with both at the same time, either way it was edited to put both of them really close to each other.

You can't diagnose personality by single sample in single type of situation. Mostly because introvert/extrovert is simplification telling about MAJORITY for examined person. Extroverts will probably act more "introvert" and introverts - more ""extrovert" in certain situations. Ironically art is common example for 2nd.

@@Petaurista13 The thing is, behaviour changes according to situation. When we say someone is introvert or extrovert it should mean that person will likely behave in certain manners, but won't necessarily.

Watch their faces, the one on the left is feeling the music and the one on the right is more in her head. On my monitor they are shaded differently as well, left is warm for feeling and right is cooler color for thought. I could be way off but it look like the left girl is an open soul who feels everything and the right girl is a book reading lover of knowledge.

I have the impression that she was worrying how she'd look in the video: Swaying less, grabbing hair instead of swinging it around, raising her eyebrow (giving sort of pose), and stuff like that. At least I feel that it's that because it's exactly what I couldn't help but do if I were her.

@@FarhadHakimov Just went down here to find this post. I knew I couldnt be the only one. Tears are running down my face while writing this. Watching this performance and hearing this song touches things inside me I didnt even knew where there. It makes me laugh and cry and remember things long forgotten and gives me hope for greater things to come. I`m a hobby musician but this Band shows me that I cannot even remotely comprehend the real power of music.

Someone mentioned this song was about the soul, and that does make some sense. However, I like to think that instead it's about one's past, their demons, their regrets, and dreams that never were. The wolves. The empowering notion that you can move forward despite these wolves, as long as you're moving forward...your past has no teeth.
