And everything feels so different now
Just grab a hold of my hand
I will lead you through this wonderland
Water up to my knees
But sharks are swimmin' in the sea
Just follow my yellow light
And ignore all those big warning signs
Somewhere deep in the dark
A howling beast hears us talk
I dare you to close your eyes
And see all the colors in disguise
Runnin' into the night
The earth is shaking and I see a light
The light is blinding my eyes
As the soft walls eat us alive

La-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la
The song begins with a search for a starting point. The singer seems to be seeking guidance and direction. The world has changed and everything feels unfamiliar. However, there is someone who is willing to lead the singer through this new and unfamiliar world. The water is up to the singer's knees, but despite the dangers that lurk beneath the surface, this guide assures them that they will be safe as long as they follow the "yellow light" and disregard the warning signs that surround them.
The second verse takes a darker turn. The singer talks about a "howling beast" that appears to be listening to their every word. This adds a sense of fear and danger to the otherwise mystical and whimsical tone of the song. The singer encourages the listener to close their eyes and imagine all of the colors disguised in the world around them. They urge you to run towards the light and not to be deterred by the tremors that the earth is experiencing. The light becomes brighter and brighter until they are overwhelmed by its brilliance, and the walls around them swallow them whole.

i feel so connected to this song
when they say "as the soft walls eat us alive" and then proceed to play such beautiful melody for the rest of the song feels like acceptance, accepting the unfathomable truth of their lives
the fact that less the half of the song has lyrics is for me the perfect choice since it feels like it builds up that acceptance of what's happening, the last moments of the stages of grief
feels like finally making peace with reality, when you decide to just go with it regardless if you want to or not, in the end, we can't control reality, but we can control "our own" reality, we can control the way we take the things that happen to us
the half of the song that's just music feels like that moment when your mind finally feels free of the dread, the stress, the sorrow, the uncertainty, the suffering, feels like finally being able to see things as they actually are, your eyes feel relaxed, your mind cools down, the music feels like it understands that and helps you think about the world, the situation you're going through
you finally stop resisting the treatment reality gives you, you embrace it, and realize that you are stronger than you thought, maybe not enough to change everything, but enough to keep on going regardless

Absolutely adore this song.. here’s the lyrics!
I'm looking for a place to start
And everything feels so different now.
Just grab a hold of my hand
I will lead you through this wonderland.
Water up to my knees
But sharks are swimming in the sea.
Just follow my yellow light
And ignore all those big warning signs.
Somewhere deep in the dark
A howling beast hears us talk.
I dare you to close your eyes
And see all the colors in disguise.
Running into the night
The earth is shaking and I see a light.
The light is blinding my eyes
As the soft walls eat us alive.

Howling from the edge of all time
Everything left has a remnant of what was left out of time
My deepest breaths and could not get, my head to save us from death's behest
We've made it so you all come back
Come back to this and another test
We've drowned our hearts and beat the best
We've found our hearts in deepest regress
We've made a mound and embers bless
Eternal lights, our souls at rest
One by one they all did fall
Each heart a tear and enough have yet been shed
I knew it from the start there'd be no way to save the day
It went through sifts from nemesis to bring you back from our wake from our wake
In twists you exist, and you're still all in my head
In twists you exist, and you're no longer dead
In twists you exist, and still I'm seeing red

I wrote a story that I think goes along with the song!
She had been sick for months, almost a year now. Day in and day out, she would lay on her bed, unable to even move or eat. She could only eat certain foods, but some days she would go without eating completely, but those were the days that her sickness was even worse than before.
As she watched the sun go down, she closed her eyes. She was exhausted. After what seemed like hours passed, she opened her eyes to see that the sun was still setting. It had only been a few minutes, apparently. She turned to her side to see the glowing, white figure of a man. Her two sisters would most likely say that it was nothing, and she thought the same. She figured that it was a dream, and shut her eyes again.
It wasn’t until she opened her eyes and turned around that she realized the man that she had seen was standing over her bed. This couldn’t have been part of a dream. The man took her hand, and helped her sit up. But strangely, she didn’t feel like she did before; all sick and gloomy, and sore. She felt like her old self.
Her teeth weren’t aching, her bones were strong, her neck wasn’t sore from sitting up on her pillow.
She felt like a child again.
She felt relief rush over her as she got down from her bed for the first time in months.
She knew it was her time to go,
and she felt at peace.
That was when the man smiled, and in a ghostly, yet warm voice, whispered,
“Just grab a hold of my hand. I will lead you through this wonderland.”
