There´s a sunspot in my eye
My perspective is clouded, distorted by something that affects my vision and prevents me from clearly seeing the world around me.

There´s a guild of thieves that weighs me down
There are people or circumstances in my life that rob me of my energy, my joy and my ability to move forward, becoming a burden that I cannot shake off.

There´s a darkness within our reach
We have the ability to access and embrace the negative emotions, thoughts, and behaviors that dwell within us, that threaten to consume us.

And roots that reach beneath
These negative aspects are deeply ingrained within us, a part of our very being, rooted in our subconscious and unconscious mind.

And in this darkness shall we crawl?
Are we willingly accepting to descend into our darker, more negative selves and their consequences, or should we strive to resist it and seek the light instead?

Overwhelmed by the void
Feeling lost, empty and disconnected from the world, as if there is a void within us that cannot be filled no matter what we do.

Conjuring darkness black like coal
Intentionally summoning negative emotions, thoughts and energy that are as dark and destructive as coal.

Let the fire hatch out let the pain unfold
Allow the intense, burning pain within us to surface and be felt, as it needs to be acknowledged and released in order for us to move forward.

Our life passes like idle chatter
Our existence is fleeting, transient and meaningless, as if our words and actions are just casual conversation that ultimately does not matter.

Life ebbs out like children stutter
Life slips away from us like the stuttered, uncertain speech of a child, leaving us feeling powerless and vulnerable.

There's a sunspot in my soul
There is an internal flaw within me that taints my soul and casts a shadow on my very being, affecting my thoughts, feelings and actions.

A millstone round my neck and a judas kiss
I am carrying a burden, a weight that weighs me down and drags me in the wrong direction, while being betrayed and abandoned by someone I trusted.

There´s a darkness coming in
A negative force or event is looming ahead, threatening to engulf us and overpower us.

A golden troth for your emptiness
Promises of fulfillment and satisfaction are offered, but they are hollow and empty, leaving us unfulfilled and disappointed.

And we stray through infinite nothing
We are wandering through life, feeling lost, aimless and directionless, unable to find meaning or purpose in our existence.

Haunted by our deadweight dreams
Our aspirations and dreams are like a ghostly presence that follow us, but weigh us down and prevent us from taking action and achieving them.

Let the fever hatch out let the moth unfold
Allow the intense, burning emotion inside us to emerge and take over, like a fever that needs to be released, like a moth that needs to break free from its cocoon.

Our love passes like idle chatter
Our affection and romantic relationships are fleeting, impermanent and shallow, like words exchanged in casual conversation that have no real substance or significance.

Life ebbs out like children stutter
Life passes away from us in a hesitant, uncertain manner, like the stuttered speech of a young child, leaving us feeling weak and powerless.

Where there’s a will there’s a way
If we have the determination, the energy and the drive to succeed, we can find a path forward that leads us to our goals and aspirations.

But there’s no will and the path led astray
Without the motivation, the focus, and the intent to overcome the obstacles and challenges that face us, we are doomed to wander aimlessly through life, lacking purpose and direction.
