After an extensive touring throughout 2010 from Florida to Michigan touring with the likes of Finger 11, Sevendust, 10 years, Red, and Saliva among many others, Oh No Fiasco! has emerged stronger than ever with a new name and bringing on brand new tour dates for 2011.
Fueled by the quick success of their first single, “Where You Used To Be,” the band is on the verge of releasing their debut album this spring. Formed by vocalist Lindsey Stamey, guitarist Seth Rowlette, bassist Thomas Boyd, and brothers Colin and Cameron Cunningham, drummer and keyboardist–Oh No Fiasco!, formerly known as The Few, have created one of the biggest surprise efforts to come out of Knoxville, Tennessee.
“This is the most powerful project that I’ve ever been a part of,” Stamey explains, adding that the band is an evolution of their past experiences and their desire for new ones. And with new experiences comes an entirely new enticing sound that leaves dancers, head bangers, and wallflowers alike salivating. Drawing influences from bands like Muse, Mew, Circa Survive, Massive Attack, and Of Montreal, Oh No Fiasco! create an intimate yet energy charged experience for listeners.
“Their music is a refreshing blend of two unbelievable bands. The music this band produces in the future will be worth looking out for.” – Metro Pulse Knoxville, TN
Never lacking in explosive live shows, Oh No Fiasco! has plans to make 2011 a fiasco.
Fly Me To The Moon
Oh No Fiasco Lyrics

I see you looking up at the stars
Back deck the party
They said that you wouldn't be here
Our conversation to familiar
It's like no time has passed
At all
I try, I try
But it hurts
That I want to be back by your side
So fly me to the moon
And you will see
At last we'll take it to the way we were
You were always on my mind
You look wondeful tonight
I can't help falling in love
So fly me to the moon
And you will see
At last we'll take it to the way we were
You were always in my mind
You look wonderful tonight
And I can't help falling in love with you
Falling in love with you
Sharing a drink out on the front porch
Everyone's passed out
And now it's just you and I
The time flies and soon the sun's up
But how do we say goodbye now
I try, I try
I try to hide my face from you
Cause it hurts
That I want
So bad to be leaving in your arms
So fly me to the moon
And you will see
At last we'll take it to the way we were
You were always in my mind
You look wonderful tonight
I can't help falling in love
So fly me to the moon
And you will see
At last we'll take it to the way we were
You were always in my mind
You look wonderful tonight
And I can't help falling in love with you
Yeah you open up the car door
And everything
Yeah it smells the same
And now you're reaching
For my hand boy
Like nothing has changed
So fly me to the moon
And you will see
At last we'll take it to the way we were
You were always in my mind
You look wonderful tonight
I can't help falling in love
So fly me to the moon
And you will see
At last we'll take it to the way we were
You were always in my mind
You look wonderful tonight
And I can't help falling in love with you
I'm falling in love with you
So fly!
I'm falling in love
The song "Fly Me to the Moon" by Oh No Fiasco is a love song that talks about the desire to rekindle a romance that was abandoned a long time ago. The first verse talks about the singer meeting their ex at a party, and how they feel like no time has passed. They try to stay away from the ex, but it hurts to not be by their side. The chorus then comes in, with the singer asking their ex to fly them to the moon, so they can relive the past when everything was perfect. The second verse talks about them spending the night talking on the front porch, and when morning comes, they don't want to say goodbye.
The lyrics are emotive, expressing a longing to go back in time and fix things. The use of celestial imagery adds to the romantic atmosphere, with the moon being a symbol for the impossible dream of going back in time. The use of the phrase "fly me to the moon" is a reference to Frank Sinatra's song of the same name, which is also about an impossible dream. However, in this song, the dream is not just about going to the moon, but about reliving a past romance.
The song is a powerful expression of the pain of lost love and the yearning to make things right. The use of specific details about the party and the front porch conversation make the song feel more personal and relatable. The bridge, with the ex-boyfriend opening the car door and reaching for the singer's hand, shows that there is still love between them.
