Game
Okay Lyrics

(Uh, that it is necessary to control people's minds, 'cause they're too much of a name)
That money sure is green
What money sure is green
What money
That money
What money that I mean
You know
It's hard to ashamed
Of not winning a game
That's impossible to play
The right way
In "Game," Okay Kaya explores the complex nature of power and control. The opening lines "That money sure is green, What money sure is green" suggest that money is a major driving force behind many people's actions, as it has the power to control and manipulate them. Kaya then questions the need for such control over others, implying that people's individuality and identities are often sacrificed for profit or gain. The line "It's hard to be ashamed of not winning a game that's impossible to play the right way" suggests that the game of life may not have clear rules or a clear winner, and that success is often achieved through means that are not entirely ethical or fair. The song ultimately suggests that people must exercise their own personal agency to resist being controlled by external forces.
Overall, "Game" is a powerful piece of music that comments on the often-unequal power dynamics that exist in society. Through its insightful lyrics and understated instrumentation, the song offers a critique of the dehumanizing effects of greed and power, and reminds us that we must remain vigilant in the face of such forces.
