The lyrics to Okay's song "Good" seem to be focused on the idea of searching for positivity and hope amidst challenging circumstances. The repetition of the phrases "what's happening" and "not happening" suggest a sense of uncertainty and confusion, perhaps regarding the state of the world or the singer's personal life. The subsequent lines, "can't do without" and "it's all about," imply a need for something to hold onto, whether that be a sense of purpose or a source of comfort.
The next verse, "nowhere to run," brings a sense of desperation and feeling trapped, perhaps in the face of adversity or negativity. Despite this, the lyrics urge the listener to "look for the good and find the good" repeatedly, almost like a mantra. This line seems to suggest that even in difficult times, it's important to actively seek out positivity and hope rather than giving up or succumbing to negativity.
Overall, the repetitive nature of the lyrics and the simple, almost chant-like structure of the song lend a sense of urgency and call to action. The song encourages the listener to keep pushing through hard times and find joy in even small moments of good.
