1. Olive Sheffield, England : Two of its members, producers Tim Kellett and Robin Taylor-Firth, had departed from their respective groups, Simply Red and Nightmares on Wax, prior to forming Olive with vocalist Ruth Ann Boyle, who Kellett had met while recording her vocals for live manipulation at a concert by The Durutti Column.
The group released their first single, "You're Not Alone" in 1996. Although the song took a year for audiences in England to catch on to, it eventually made number one in 1997. Popularity in America and Australia was muted, with the track coming short of an American Top 40 position and being restricted to a small musical niche with Australians. "Outlaw" followed not long after, with similar responses, as well as their first album, Extra Virgin in 1996.
In 2000, their presciently-named second album Trickle was released. Taylor-Firth had left the group, bringing it down to a duo. While Trickle still displayed the distinctive Olive sound, the tunes were more dance-oriented. The best-known song on this album was a cover of the 10cc song "I'm Not in Love," which was featured on the movie The Next Best Thing.
Since then, like many trip-hop bands, little has been heard of them. The band have stopped working together for the moment. Tim is focusing on songwriting for other artists so that he can spend more time with his family. Ruth Ann completed work on her first solo album "What About Us?" at the end of 2004.
2. Olive (Syria): An atmospheric doom metal band from Syria, currently disbanded. Olive has two demos and one full-length album, The Awaking.
3. Olive, the French singer, started the rock band Lili Drop in the late 1970's. He then went solo and made a couple of minor hits. Suffering AIDS and becoming poor, he died in 2006, shortly after reuniting Lili Drop.
4. Olive was also a Chinese singer in the 70's.
5. Olive, Olivia Latuputty, the Indonesian young Jazz Female vocalist with nearly Ayako Hosokawa's breath inside.

I will not worry for you you'll be just fine
Take my thoughts with you and when you look behind
You will surely see, a face that you recognize
Your not alone
I'll wait 'till the end of time
Open your mind, surely it's plain to see
I'll wait 'till the end of time for you
Open your mind, surely there's time to be with me
It is the distance that makes life a little hard
Two minds that once were close now so many miles apart
I will not falter though, I'll hold on to your home
Safely back where you belong
And see how our love has grown
Your not alone
I'll wait 'till the end of time
Open your mind, surely its plain to see
Your not alone
I'll wait 'till the end of time for you
Open your mind, surely there's time to be with me
You're not alone
I'll wait 'till the end of time
Open your mind, surely it's plain to see
Your not alone
I'll wait 'till the end of time for you
Open your mind, surely there's time to be with me
Your not alone
I'll wait 'till the end of time
Open your mind, baby there's timeto be with me
Your not alone
I'll wait 'till the end of time
Open your mind, surely there's time to be with me
Your not alone
I'll wait 'till the end of time with you
Open your mind, baby there's time for me and you
The lyrics of "You're Not Alone" by Olive convey a sense of comfort and reassurance to a person who may be struggling or feeling alone. The first two lines of the chorus, "You're not alone, I'll wait 'til the end of time," suggest a strong and unwavering commitment to the person being addressed. The lines "Open your mind, surely it's plain to see" and "Open your mind, surely there's time to be with me" encourage the listener to take a step back and consider their situation from a different perspective, possibly to see the support and love that is being offered to them.
The verses of the song use language that seems to imply a physical distance between the two parties - "Two minds that once were close now so many miles apart" - and the idea that even with the physical distance, the love between them has only grown stronger. The line "I will not falter though, I'll hold on to your home" suggests that the person singing the song has an emotional attachment to the person they are singing to, and that they will always be there for them, no matter the distance.
Overall, the song has a message of steadfast love and support, encouraging the listener to open their mind and see the love that is being offered to them.

This song is unreal. Absolute perfect in every way. Can't believe it was released 27 years ago as it still sounds as fresh and exciting as ever. Pure bliss.
