Girl what's up is you with it
Let me put you in some shit
You can't afford cut the noise
Now that we poppin' they annoyed
Out here with my toys doing shit that I enjoy
I ain't fuckin' with no lame that hibachi in ya face you catch a flame
Nomore room inside the whip
Pull up at the Carnival ain't talking bout no ship
Still let her ride the boat Julio gone keep her lit
I'm just too cold with these things
I let her and her friend do what they wanna do with no strings
This just one of those flings
Where I don't do too much when they playing
When they want me they'll crawl over and sink deep with them fangs
I lay back shooting 4k camera work my forte
They still with it, they okay
They good girls in the worst way that's cake
Make it clap like yo birthday
You grown enough I can keep a secret discreet
You want a piece huh I'ma big dog you done let me off the leash huh
Bottle service goin' crazy, It's goin' crazy
This the life that muthafuckin made me
You better recognize, don't be so shady
I'm the realest in your life I can't tell a lie
Baby I'ma do you dirty ain't no chillin' when I hit it
Tell em mind they business I go hard until I'm finished
Pop it for me, pop it for me, pop it for me
Baby get it got a crib in the city
Girl what's up is you with it
Damn right she with it
Damn right she bout it
Climax on high give her back shots on a mountain
Yeah she know I'm that guy and her last man was a bitch
Didn't want to cut ties while I'm digging all in her ribs
Like damn you ain't get the memo, she ain't never coming back aww
Oh you though you was special she ain't never calling back aww
You ain't on my level, ey damn they was never on my level
Boy, aye
I said stroke like I'm Phelps
In the water like a bong rip
She going slurp it up til she cough
That's my main bitch
Damn that shit so dangerous
The way you take my soul
Like you tryna get me tangled up
Then I'll flame it up I got khalifa kush
We gone vibe we in the city
They can't hang with us
I got a pistol on me baby can you make it bust
I'm from the streets but I'm not crazy
But I might fuck you up
Baby I'ma do you dirty ain't no chillin' when I hit it
Tell em mind they business I go hard until I'm finished
Pop it for me, pop it for me, pop it for me
Baby get it got a crib in the city
Girl what's up is you with it
Is you with it (damn right she with it)
Is you with it (damn right she bout it)
Okay, okay, okay, okay

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Oliver's song "Go With It" depict a sense of loneliness and vulnerability experienced by the singer. The song opens with a late-night atmosphere, as the singer's mind races with thoughts that were once important but now hold no significance. The lyrics convey a sense of uncertainty and confusion as the singer tries to grasp what they are searching for and why. Despite going through life independently, the singer is not devoid of emotions or unfeeling, as indicated by the line "you go it alone, but you're not made of stone."

The song explores the theme of isolation, highlighting the absence of close connections in the singer's life. The mention of the singer's family being in different locations and the person who claimed to love them being far away reflects the lack of emotional support and companionship. The lyrics also touch upon the daily grind and monotony of work, where the singer exhausts themselves but finds solace in the television, hoping to find someone who shares their feelings.

The song takes a darker turn when referencing medical professionals and their diagnosis and treatment. The lyrics depict a sense of frustration towards doctors who pass judgment without truly understanding what the singer is going through. The mention of breaking the "mortal coil" suggests a desire to escape from the overwhelming emotions, but ultimately, the singer wakes up in the emergency room, facing yet another day.

In the end, the lyrics convey the constant struggle and fear of facing one's demons and the repetition of burning bridges, yet hoping to find someone or something that will bring solace and a sense of home.

I feel some type of way when you sit next to me
And I'm not tryna hide it, hide it
"You can't control emotion" is what's you said to me
And I'm not gonna fight it, fight it

[Pre-Chorus: Dave 1]
Check it
I say the words and they come out wrong
I know I shouldn't've left the lights on
The night is young, make it last long
Before it ends, I'm gonna give you the best of me
I'm getting caught up in the details
A little nervous 'cause I might fail
Don't wanna deal with another L
But every time, I need to tell myself

[Chorus: Dave 1]
You gotta roll with the punches
You better go with it, just go with it
You gotta roll with the punches
You better go with it, just go with it
[?] give you the curve, you get your feelings hurt
[?] got some nerve, it ain't what you deserve
You gotta roll with the punches
You better go with it, just go with it

[Post-Chorus: Dave 1]
It's alright, and it's alright
It's alright (Go with it, go with it)
And it's alright (Go with it, go with it)

[Verse 2: Dave 1 & P-Thugg]
I'm discombobulated, you ain't checking me
But there's no point in lying, am I right? (Is that right?)
So I'll get back to you later, this ain't phasing me
Your girlfriend's more excited I decided (Oh yeah)

[Pre-Chorus: Dave 1 & P-Thugg]
Check it
I say the words and they come out wrong (Out wrong)
I know I shouldn't've left the lights on (Lights on)
The night is young, make it last long
Before it ends, I'ma be giving you the best of me
I'm getting caught up in the details
A little nervous 'cause I might fail (Oh no)
Don't wanna deal with another L
But every time, I need to tell myself

[Chorus: Dave 1]
You gotta roll with the punches
You better go with it, just go with it
You gotta roll with the punches
You better go with it, just go with it
[?] give you the curve, you get your feelings hurt
[?] got some nerve, it ain't what you deserve
You gotta roll with the punches
You better go with it, just go with it

[Post-Chorus: Dave 1]
It's alright, and it's alright
It's alright (Go with it, go with it)
And it's alright (Go with it, go with it)

[Outro: Dave 1]
Go with it, go with it
Go with it, go with it
Go with it, go with it
Go with it, go with it

These guys are still the best producers of all time from a technical standpoint. unreal mastery of music production. No one comes close, it's actually unreal to consider this fact. What kind of ears for audio production were they blessed with

@drumsandroses22

orhema oluga Oliver is a great duo. I hope they’re cooking up some more jams in the studio cause I would love to hear more stuff from them. Their Full Circle album is a masterpiece

@sharmarkehosh

@saintaddy64

@@spcmcdgl chromeo is fucking amazing

@matsysmellsbetterthanyou

I love that.

I used to be the resident DJ at a spot called Boogie Nights, and as a 20 something year old bogstandard white dude, I think people expected to hear all the usual played out stuff like Don't Stop Believin, Pour Some Sugar, Hey Mickey (*vomit*) and so on. But, thanks to artists like Chromeo and Oliver, I spent my night dropping Cameo, Slave, Whispers, Maze, Rene and Angela, and all those types of tunes that clearly inspired songs like this one.

So I kinda had the inverse of your experience haha.

@DrumToTheBassWoop

Me and you would get on like a house on fire, same vibe-length. 😎
