Matikan lah aku dalam keimanan
Ya Allah hanya padaMu ku memohon
Kurniakanlah kebahagiaan di akhirat
Jauh dan lindungi aku dari kejahatan dunia
Manusia yang sering alpa
Mengejar kemewahan dunia
Ku tahu suatu hari akan tiba
Waktu untuk aku pergi menghadapiMu
Ya Allah berikan aku kesempatan
Dalam sisa waktu ini untuk aku bertaubat
Sesungguhnya aku berdoa
Agama umat sekian alam
Ampunilah dosa-dosa kami
Oh ya Allah
Pancarkan cahaya kepada seluruh anggotaku
Mataku telingaku hatiku seluruh anggotaku
Ya Allah kabulkan doa-doa hamba
Jantungku bergoncang mendengar kalimahMu
Ya Allah
The lyrics of Omar's song "Ku Ku" express a deep sense of spirituality, devotion, and repentance towards Allah. The singer begins by expressing his total submission to Allah, acknowledging that he only prostrates to Him. He asks to be strengthened in faith and to be granted happiness in the afterlife, seeking protection from the temptations and evils of the material world that often distract and lead people astray from the path of righteousness. The reference to humans who frequently overlook their spiritual duties and chase after worldly luxuries serves as a reminder of the transient nature of material possessions compared to the eternal importance of one's relationship with Allah.
The lyrics then reflect a contemplation on mortality and the inevitability of facing Allah one day. The singer recognizes the need for repentance and seeks the opportunity to amend his ways before meeting his creator. This contemplation on the transient nature of life and the importance of seeking forgiveness and spiritual guidance is a central theme in Islamic teachings, emphasizing the constant need for self-reflection, repentance, and striving towards spiritual growth.
The singer continues by praying for forgiveness for the sins of all believers across the world, emphasizing a sense of unity and shared humanity in seeking Allah's mercy. The plea for forgiveness of sins and the acknowledgment of the omnipotence and mercy of Allah highlights the singer's humility and recognition of human fallibility, as well as the universal need for divine forgiveness and guidance across all cultures and communities.
In the final verses, the singer implores Allah to shower his divine light upon all his being – eyes, ears, heart, and every part of his being. This metaphorical invocation of spiritual enlightenment and guidance reflects a heartfelt desire for divine blessings and protection in navigating life's challenges and temptations. The repeated calls for the acceptance of prayers, the trembling of the heart at the mention of Allah's name, and the earnest plea for divine mercy encapsulate a profound sense of faith, devotion, and reliance on Allah's grace and guidance throughout the song.
