2. Omar Akram is the son of a United Nations diplomat, Omar Akram spent many of his early years traveling the world, soaking up the musical traditions of such exotic locales as Afghanistan, Cuba, France, and the Czech Republic.
By the age of 14, he was considered a piano prodigy. In his late teens, he discovered the boundary-pushing sounds of Jean Michel Jarre (France), Kitaro (Japan), and Vangelis (Greece), and began to absorb their independent musical influences. At the same time, Omar Akram remained intrigued by such classical composers as Bach and Mozart, and used much of their thematic coherence, comprehensible structure, and clear rhythmic control to craft his own original compositions.
3. Omar is a two-piece punk band rooted in Philadelphia, PA. They released a CD titled "I'm Not Mad, I'm Just Mad That You're Mad" in April 2010.

I don't lose sight of your beauty
'Cos your heart is fine gold baby
I'mma take my time with your mind
Your ambition won't leave me alone
Tell me 'bout your dreams, tell me everything
Don't nobody care about your heart like I do
Body like a queen
But it ain't about your body baby it's about your being
I ain't rolling up, but I'm on a high
When you really think about it, ain't no wonder why
I'm so down for you
I'm so down for you babe
(I'm so down, I'm so down for ya)
I see you from the inside
I'm so down for you
I'm so down for you babe
(I'm so down, I'm so down for ya)
I see you
Never could forget you 'cuz
You're so beautiful, girl a blind man could love you
(Woo! Yeah woo! Yeah)
You're so beautiful, girl a blind man could love you
(Woo! Yeah woo! Yeah)
Beauty in your soul, girl a blind man could love you
(Woo! Yeah woo! Yeah)
A blind man could love you just for who you are
Got 20/20 vision and I still don't see ya flaws
I said you make me feel good, and you ain't even touch me
My baby A1, I ain't 'gon trade you in for nothing
And now I'm doin' the most
(Doin' the most)
Making sure I keep your attention baby
I'm true in the post
(True in the post)
I'm in the paint with the baddest intentions
You're bad, did I mention?
(Baby you bad)
With my eyes open, there's no one badder, there isn't
Never left and I'm glad that you didn't
(Baby)
Body like a queen
But it ain't about your body baby it's about your being
I ain't rolling up, but I'm on a high
When you really think about it, ain't no wonder why
I'm so down for you
I'm so down for you babe
(I'm so down, I'm so down for ya)
I see you from the inside
I'm so down for you
I'm so down for you babe
(I'm so down, I'm so down for ya)
I see you
Never could forget you 'cuz
You're so beautiful, girl a blind man could love you
(Woo! Yeah, Woo! Yeah)
You're so beautiful, girl a blind man could love you
(Woo! Yeah, Woo! Yeah)
Beauty in your soul, girl a blind man could love you
(Woo! Yeah, Woo! Yeah)
Oh yeah
The song "The Man" by Omar is an ode to a woman who is not only physically beautiful but also has a kind heart and ambitious dreams. The lyrics "I can love you with my eyes closed, I don't lose sight of your beauty" showcases that the singer is not only attracted to her because of her looks but also values her character. The line "Your ambition won't leave me alone, tell me 'bout your dreams, tell me everything" highlights the singer's interest in his partner's aspirations and dreams, and how he derives pleasure from learning about her.
The song also heavily emphasizes the fact that the singer is deeply devoted to the woman he is singing about, and that his feelings are genuine. The line "Don't nobody care about your heart like I do, girl I'm down for you just the way that you're down for me" reinforces this loyalty and commitment to the relationship. Moreover, the line "I ain't rolling up, but I'm on a high" suggests that he is not smoking marijuana but rather the idea of being with her brings him a natural "high".
The chorus of "I'm so down for you, I'm so down for you babe" enhances the idea of the singer being 100% committed to this woman with "eyes closed". The repeat of "You're so beautiful, girl a blind man could love you" may suggest society's expectations of relationships regarding beauty, but the line "Beauty in your soul, girl a blind man could love you" is a way to break away from such stereotypes. The song reminds listeners that true beauty lies in character and soul.
