2. Omnia is an electronic dance music producer, his track Stick in monday was featured in the Trance Mix Mission Podcast.
Man behind it all, is Evgeny Smirnov. Born in 1987, he would grow up with a diverse taste in music, loving and exploring the beauty of different genres. In the 90’s, he turned his passion for EDM into a hobby and started toying around with producing programs. After discovering trance music, Evgeny knew which path to follow and started developing his sound into this direction.
At the end of 2006, when Evgeny was only 20 years old, he concentrated on creating his own, quality tracks and saw big names like Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz and Above & Beyond play his tracks and remixes on the radio and during gigs. Remixes on ‘Ørjan Nilsen – La Guitarra’ and ‘Armin van Buuren feat. Jacqueline Govaert – Never Say Never’ put Omnia’s name on the map.

Omnia Lyrics

No forest left to clothe the land
The battle's done , we played our part
"Oh mere Dil gaya"… Gone is my heart
Oh mere mere Dilgaya ***Repeat***
The song "Dil Gaya" by Omnia talks about the devastating consequences of human actions on nature. The lyrics describe a once lush and vibrant world that has been destroyed by greed and neglect. The first line talks about the "ghost" of rain on desert sand, which refers to the fact that the land has become barren and lifeless. The second line indicates that there is no longer any forest to clothe the land, meaning that all the trees have been cut down.
The third line suggests that mankind is responsible for this destruction, as it refers to the "battle" being done and the fact that we have played our part. The final line, "Oh mere Dil gaya," which is repeated throughout the song, suggests that the singer's heart is also gone due to the destruction of the environment.
The lyrics of "Dil Gaya" are a powerful reminder of the devastating impact that humans can have on the natural world. The repetitive and haunting melody of the song adds to its emotional impact, making it a powerful commentary on the need for environmental awareness and sustainability.
