~~sigh~~ "Uncharted Shores" used to be "One Direction" because they were the /first/ One Direction before the popular British boy band we all know of. In order to avoid confusion, and most likely because of their low popularity, they had to change their name, despite being the first.

When Uncharted Shores released their album "The Light" containing this song, they were still called One Direction for the UK One Direction just started gaining popularity; thus this is why the title says "One Direction - Dreaming" because the song was released back when they were called One Direction.

I lovee this band and THEY ARE THE FIRST One Direction that was around BEFORE the One Direction Simon Cowell put together with the kids Harry, Zayne, Liam, etc. I love this band and these poor guys have to change their name now because of the more popular One Direction. I think they should call themselves "ONE DIRECTION TO THE LIGHT" or something like that, because they are going to keep being compared to the other guys when the genres are nothing alike!!!!!

I get your point that us UK Directioners really thought that this was UK One Direction's song. But, there is actually no basis on what you're saying that we are bitchy, plus UK and US One Direction are both good so please don't insult one or both parties. I'm just concerned for the reputation of both bands since if we fans keep on fighting, this could ruin the reputation of both of them. :))

technically THIS One Direction formed 2 years before the british One Direction so actually no it would technically be the other way around. But in reality neither band were aware of each other's existence when they each formed so they have no relation to each other and none of them are copiers.
