On June 26th, 2012, One Drop will be releasing their highly anticipated sophomore album titled "Black Book Diaries" featuring performances from shared cast members and roots reggae veterans "The Devastators". By utilizing retro equipment and out-board effects from 1970's (Fender Rhodes, Hammond C3, Studio Upright Piano, Clavinet D6, Tape Delays, Analog Spring Reverb) and a blend of organic and innovative digital production tools, One Drop promises to exceed fans high expectations. The band is constantly evolving and growing into something special. A tremendous amount of attention and detail are being put into this album, which will feature 15 new songs.

I know this song is about losing a girl, but I love this song because so many of the other lyrics remind me of times spent with my best friend and brother in law, who committed suicide two years ago to all the bars we closed, joints smoked, years shared... I wish I had one more night..

I've been a huge fan of reggae since my early teens. From ska to roots, pop reggae, dub, full circle to the US reggae scene; Groundation, Stick Figure, Rebelution, etc. These guys so deserve to be more popular. Awesome.... awesome awesome!!!!
