Inspired by artists like Steel Pulse, Gregory Isaacs and The Police. One Drop's music is infectious and well received by a wide range of age and cultural demographics. Critics describe their sound as genuine and captivating, filled with melodic choruses, refreshing vintage guitar/organ tones all cleverly layered over seductive bass lines. The voice of One Drop is soulfully delivered with brutally honest lyrics rooted from true-life experiences of love, growing up in a dysfunctional home and social & political taboos.

On June 26th, 2012, One Drop will be releasing their highly anticipated sophomore album titled "Black Book Diaries" featuring performances from shared cast members and roots reggae veterans "The Devastators". By utilizing retro equipment and out-board effects from 1970's (Fender Rhodes, Hammond C3, Studio Upright Piano, Clavinet D6, Tape Delays, Analog Spring Reverb) and a blend of organic and innovative digital production tools, One Drop promises to exceed fans high expectations. The band is constantly evolving and growing into something special. A tremendous amount of attention and detail are being put into this album, which will feature 15 new songs.
