In 1988 RENT PARTY broke up and Jackson found himself working in many different musical areas. He recorded the 12" dance floor classic "Night in Tunisia" with DJ and Latin percussionist 'Snowboy'. In 1989 Jackson recorded a solo album called "Old Angel Midnight" with top British jazz musicians. This received great response from fans and critics alike, the album has been re-released recently in Japan and Hungry and has been very successful.
After spending many years in the jazz field Jackson has decided to get back to his roots of Jump-Jive, Blues and Boogie-Woogie R&B so he phoned drummer, Alan Savage, and asked if he would be interested in getting a band together. Alan jumped at the chance, having had great times together in Rent Party, and knowing that with the right musicians behind him, Jackson would once more become a driving force in the current Jump-Jive, Swing, Boogie-Woogie World.
The core line-up of the band is:
Jackson Sloan - vocals
Alan Savage - drums
James Lunn - piano
Paul Garner - guitar
Albie Green - tenor sax
John Wilmott - tenor sax
Pete Pritchard - double-bass

Jingle bells swing in jingle bells ring
Snowing and blowing in bushels of fun
Now the jingle hop has begun
Jingle bell,
Jingle bell,
Jingle bell rock,
Dancing and prancing in Jingle Bell Square
In the frosty air
What a bright time
It's the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go gliding in a one-horse sleigh
Giddy-up jingle horse
Pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and a-mingle in the jingling beat
That's the jingle bell rock
What a bright time
It's the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go gliding in a one-horse sleigh
Giddy-up jingle horse
Pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and a-mingle in the jingling beat
That's the jingle bell,
That's the jingle bell,
That's the jingle bell rock!
