Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Open Sores' song II are difficult to interpret as they consist of a series of numbers, which could be representative of the structure or sequence of a song. The progression of the numbers suggests that it could indicate the chords used in the song. The first line starts with a simple 1-2 progression and then moves to 1-2-4 and then to 1-2-4-5. This could be interpreted as a building of tension or anticipation leading up to the bridge, where the melody or lyrics could change or climax.

The repetition of the verse and chorus structure with the same numeric progression adds to the ambiance of the song, creating a sense of familiarity with the listener, creating emotional nuances with each repeated line. The aggressively blunt and straightforward use of numbers instead of language, could be interpreted as a conscious or sub-conscious effort to create a sense of universality in the song. It is an interesting and unusual approach to songwriting, and while it may be difficult to comprehend at first, it has a uniqueness that sets it apart from other songs.

Open wounds causes a dot effect for 200 frames, which is 8 seconds on the original Diablo 2 because it runs at 25 fps. Resurrected runs at 60, does that mean the dot effect runs for 3.33 seconds?

Ginger Gaming Mentor

Good question, but it assumes they changed things.

According to everything we have been told the original game still functions at 25fps under the surface.

So despite the fact the new interface runs at 60fps the old game under the surface is still using the same engine with the same limitations.

I think it's ridiculous that they take the blood out you know if you want to put a toggle in the options toggle blood on and off fine but but don't change the game.

People are very special nowadays, offended by literally anything and everything lol.

chrono2959

@A Z if I know a person and they use that language around me like offends me or they use the word triggered, we're no longer friends. Life is too short to walk around on eggshells for people that have their ass on their shoulders and thinks they're more important than they are

I also like the blood, they should add it back in patch 2.4 or another patch after that

This is very good information. Thank you

well open wound is as useful as a 8 second poison small charm (and it would stop healing 100% of the times)

Ginger Gaming Mentor

Not Quite, Open Wounds Actually stops the Regeneration, Poison damage doesn't so much stop Regeneration as it cancels it out if you have enough.

Which is two different things, and Open Wounds Stacks with Poison Damage so that when you Stop Regeneration with Open Wounds Poison Damage is Doing More Damage because it no longer has to fight Regen.

franchstar1

@Ginger Gaming Mentor but will the monster not stay in combat state anyways as long as poison is doing dmg? so the poison does not need to fight any regen
