3. A Yugoslavian progressive rock band from Belgrade formed in 1973 (sometimes is called Opus 1).
The members included Miodrag Okrugić on keyboards, Dušan Prelević on vocals, Slobodan Orlić/Dušan Ćućuz on bass, Ljubomir Jerković on drums and a variety of guitar players.

4. An unsigned English Heavy Melodic Instrumental band which formed in 2000.
Opus formed in early 2001 and debuted a year later with their 6 track (non-instrumental) EP Questions. After a year and a half of touring in and around London and supporting bands such as The Datsuns, Kid Galahad and The blueprint Opus decided to perform an instrumental one off show in their local area Frimley. Much of their set was improvised and the band played their set with total belief in what they were doing that night. From that day Opus have only ever performed instrumental sets.
In 2004 they went on to record their self-titled 30 minute long, one song self-released EP OPUS. They have since gone on to develop their distinctive style of heavy, yet melodic instrumentation and have been working to create new material. Sample Aura is the bands 3rd studio EP and was released on 10th March 2006. They recorded a free track called Antipathy which could be downloaded from their official site.
Their influences can be found in artists such as Tool, Mogwai and King Crimson.

Flying High
Opus Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Searchin' within us to find a new sound
We climb high up to the sky
We don't wait and see
'Cause after all we could fall and not find the key
You and I flyin' high
High up to the sky
You and I flyin' high
Once in a while we should try flyin' high
We got together to turn from the ground
Searchin' for things nobody found
We climb high up to the sky
We don't wait and see
'Cause after all we could fall and not see the key
You and I flyin' high
We climb high
High up to the sky
You and I flyin' high
Once in a while we should try flyin' high
Movin' together we can't stand
Time isn't wasted playin' the game
All the high feelin' isn't a fame
We're flyin' high
We hope in our name
Once in a while we all should try flyin' high
Movin' together we can't stand
Time isn't wasted playin' the game
All the high feelin' isn't a fame
We're flyin' high
We hope in our name
Once in a while we all should try flyin' high
You and I flyin' high
We climb high
High up to the sky
You and I flyin' high
Once in a while we should try flyin' high
The lyrics of Opus's song Flying High express a sense of unity, adventure and experimentation, as a group of people get together to search for a new sound and climb high up to the sky. The opening lines suggest a sense of purpose and optimism: "We got together to turn the world around / Searchin' within us to find a new sound". The image of climbing high up to the sky conveys a sense of reaching for something beyond the ordinary, and the repetition of the phrase "We climb high" reinforces this idea. The lyrics also acknowledge the risk involved in such an endeavor, with the line "after all we could fall and not find the key". Despite this, the song urges us to take that risk and try flying high, even if it's just once in a while.
The second verse further emphasizes the theme of searching for something new and unknown: "Searchin' for things nobody found". The lyrics suggest that this is a collective effort, with the phrase "We got together". The idea of not waiting and seeing resonates throughout the song, implying that it takes proactive work and determination to achieve something great. The final verse of the song reinforces the sense of unity and hope, as the group moves together and hopes for recognition and success: "All the high feelin' isn't a fame / We're flyin' high / We hope in our name".
Overall, the song Flying High encourages us to take risks, to search for something new and to work together to achieve our goals. The repetition of the phrase "You and I flyin' high" lends a sense of empowerment, as if we can achieve anything we set our minds to.
