Overall Meaning

The song "Lipstick" by Orange Caramel is an upbeat pop song about a girl's infatuation with lipstick. The opening lines "Lipstick stick se ugo" are repeated as a catchy hook throughout the song. The verses describe the girl's curiosity about other people's reactions to her wearing lipstick and how it changes her appearance. She feels a newfound confidence and is eager to put on more lipstick. The chorus emphasizes how the lipstick makes her feel and how it changes her look, making her more attractive.

The second verse goes on to describe how the girl is aware of how her new look affects people's perceptions of her, but she doesn't let that stop her from loving lipstick. She enjoys the attention and admires her reflection in the mirror. The bridge, which repeats the line "omo omo," is a lighthearted exclamation of joy and excitement.

Overall, "Lipstick" is a fun song about the transformative power of makeup and how it can boost your self-confidence and make you feel better about yourself.

This truly was the golden age. SNSD, Orange Caramel, f(x), EXO, 2NE1, BIG BANG... absolute legends that had music that was unique and crazy enough that it still couldn’t break into the mainstream. Nowadays so much of new K-Pop sounds like the typical American pop hits, just with Korean lyrics :(

@faridatuss.3446
