Oranssi Pazuzu Lyrics

Kuu kaunis, mustanharmaa, ikiaikainen
Kajastavat varjot horisontin taustalla
Loppumattomuuden kehto hiljainen
Rajat hämärtyvät
Kun astun maailmoista viimeiseen
Mädänneiden suo ympärillä höyryää
Johtaa musta kivinen polku askeleeni
Muinaiset tuntemattomaan
Tuo ikuisuuden mitta, odottanut haudan taa
Näin edessäni fossiloituneen, m
ustan vuoren luut, hampaat liikkumatta, irvistää
On tullut yöllä jokin vetää sieluani
Syvemmälle kallioiseen kitaan
Kylmissäni, paniikissa, valo hiipii pois
Savua ja muistot puhalletaan avaruuden kylmyyteen
Näin edessäni fossiloituneen, m
ustan vuoren luut, hampaat liikkumatta, hymyilee
The lyrics of Oranssi Pazuzu's song Danjon Nolla speak of an otherworldly experience that is hard to put into words. The lyrics are in Finnish, which only adds to the mystique of the song. The opening lines speak of embracing the children of the cold sea, setting the tone for a journey into the unknown. The moon is described as beautiful but also black and grey, alluding to the duality that is present in the world. The shadows in the distance indicate that the end of the journey is near, but there is still a long way to go.
As the journey continues, the boundaries between worlds become blurred. The singer finds themselves immersed in a swamp, and a black rocky path leads them towards a tunnel. The lyrics speak of ancient unknown entities that have been waiting for the singer to arrive. These entities seem to be measuring eternity and leading the singer towards the grave. The imagery of a fossilized mountain and its bones is eerie, and the fact that it is grinning amplifies the horror of the situation.
The lyrics of Danjon Nolla are open to interpretation, and the song lends itself to multiple readings. It speaks of the cyclical nature of life and death, and the way everything is interconnected. The imagery is vivid and haunting and conveys a sense of something that is beyond human comprehension.
