Double Vision
Orchards Lyrics
I had to double take
Had a glimpse, i knew you'd be trouble
I was avoiding all the feelings that i had before
Revenge could be so sweet
But i've got a bitter taste in my mouth
And i think that it is right that you walk out the door and...
Leave me alone
I'm out in the could, but am happy with myself, free
I've been sleeping through doble vision
How did i get myself into this position?
I might know what it tastes like
I see the thunder
The influence of your thunder
It feels more often like i've been here without you
You come out town, and help my attention
I never knew, never knew i would fall
Leave me alone
I'm out in the cold, but i am happy with myself, free
I've been sleeping through double vision
How did i get myself into this position?
When i've been trying so hard to find my place in time
I might know what it tastes like
I've been sleeping through double vision
Double vision, oh
I've been sleeping through double vision
Double vision, oh
I've been sleeping through double vision
Double vision, oh
I've been sleeping through double vision
Double vision
I've been sleeping through double vision
How did i get myself into this position?
When i've been trying so hard to find my place in time
I might know what it tastes like
Revenge could be so sweet
But i've got a bitter taste in my mouth
And i think that it is right that you walk out the door

From Orchards' website: 'this music will never compare with the lovely, soft patter of falling rain. it can only vaguely suggest the forms of passing emotional states and thoughts, digitally crystalized into nostalgic, upbeat pop collages, dance hymns, and reveries.'
4) From the fertile ground of Nottingham, UK's bountiful music scene grew Orchards. The group yields fruit in the shape of sweet, crunchy melodies married to bitesize narratives for your listening pleasure. Indeed, the french name for Orchards is "pommes pour l'oreille". And their raison d'etre? Simply to sing, plonk, bash, strum and bow through said nutritious nuggets. This humble assembly of musicians currently / have previously graced such fine groups as Saint Joan, Jones of Colorado, Sweetbriar, The Nordic Mile, The Grave Architects and the Sexcapades of Dan Diego. One member also once had the privilege of joining the Chemistry Experiment on stage in Bath. Something lead him to lean over and bite the top of the keyboard player's head. Relations between the two groups remain amicable despite this infringement.

I prefer it when you go for a more mathy sound and less poppy. Peggy was a stroke of genius imo

I remember seeing you guys on tour with Tiny Moving Parts in Cologne, and you really blew me away! Your EP is really amazing, I listen to it from the first track troughout the last track without skipping one single song. Your music is so complex and creative, yet so accessible and poppy. Everyone of this band does a great job. I hope you will someday throw a show in Cologne again haha!
