Walk Through the Fire
Orchestra [Orchestra] Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
We've loved so dangerously
You're not trusting your heart to anyone
You tell me you're gonna play it smart
We're through before we start
But I believe that we've only just begun
When it's this good, there's no saying no
Chorus:
Through the fire
To the limit, to the wall
For a chance to be with you
I'd gladly risk it all
Through the fire
Through whatever, come what may
For a chance at loving you
I'd take it all the way
Right down to the wire
Even through the fire
I know you're afraid of what you feel
You still need time to heal
And I can help if you'll only let me try
You touch me and something in me knew
What I could have with you
Well I'm not ready to kiss that dream goodbye
When it's this sweet, there's no saying no
I need you so, I'm ready to go
Chorus
Through the test of time
Chorus
Through the fire, to the limit
Through the fire, through whatever
Through the fire, to the limit
Through the fire, through whatever
The song "Walk Through the Fire" by Orchestra is an emotionally charged ballad about the risks one is willing to take for love. The singer addresses a lover who is hesitant to dive into a relationship, explaining that despite the danger, they would be willing to risk it all and face any obstacle to be with them. The opening lines set the tone for the song, acknowledging that their love is risky and dangerous, but also worth the potential pain. The lyrics express the singer's unwavering commitment to the relationship, even when faced with obstacles.
The chorus repeatedly proclaims, "Through the fire, to the limit, to the wall," emphasizing the idea of pushing through any obstacle to be with the person they love. The singer conveys patience and understanding, recognizing that the lover is not quite ready to jump headfirst into the relationship but expressing a belief that the risks are worth it. The song builds to a moment of triumph and self-assuredness, stating that they would "take it all the way, right down to the wire," reinforcing the idea that their love is limitless.
Overall, "Walk Through the Fire" is an anthem for those who believe in the transformative power of love and the willingness to take risks for it, even when the stakes are high.

This software is incredible. It's taken years for people to develop genuine applications for digital orchestras that manipulate true sounds of real instruments in such fantastic ways.

Will Spitfire ever make a dedicated runs library? Albion One runs selections are limited to strings (and most of them are honestly pretty out of tune). I'd love to see some runs (i.e. like the hollywoods in the harp collection) in a wind section.

This is incredible Paul. Can't help but noticed that Oliver & Chris is using Logic while you're on Pro Tools with your compositions. Any major differences between the DAWs? And how do you integrate the use of AVID's Artist Mix on the desk with your workflow or is it purely just as mixing aid?

That performance legato patch is brilliant!

Any plans for making a slider for different articulations? I think this would be a revolutionary move. No more massive templets.

Much appreciated my friend, thank you. I've been playing around with different configurations, however i still feel that a simple slider with visual articulations would suffice.

I’ve just purchased the symphony complete collection. Overnight Downloading each library 1 per night. I still need to purchase the full version of Kontakt though. Can’t wait to get more familiar with all the libraries. I’ve been playing around with Albion One since I got it in November. Finally got a nice Template session saved in Logic to make loading up a wall of sound quicker. I’m using one instance of Kontakt for every 16 Tracks in multi tumble set up to make it easier on the CPU. So far I’m happy. I started to feel a little foolish for spending and not being a pro but then I thought “Ive spent more than this on a guitar before and that only made the guitar sound where as this is like buying your own Orchestra. 15 years ago when I got out of music making I never thought such a thing would be possible. Hopefully my orchestrations come out better than my vlogs 😂. We’ll find out when I vlog about it after a few months of experimentation.

Sounds fantastic Paul! I am noticing some pitch modulation in the reverb tails at 6:20. Is this a reverb on or the room? Is it controllable?

2:32 one of my favorite parts of a Rayman song starts with these exact two notes played the exact same way on the exact same instruments
