Its roads spill about my legs
Aurora smiles at me
The sand of time
Slips between my hands
Luminous crystals
Blue seas
Reflecting rivers
Wishes of angels
The old world, like the dream of a dinosaur
What will it give me tomorrow?
The secrets of the pyramids aren't opened
The word of love isn't let out
My soul soars with the glowing of the fire
I've waited so many years for this day
Ariadna's net held out the world to me
The winds will sing ancient psalms
Opening the truth of prayers
Luminous crystals
Blue seas
The skies
Reflecting rivers
Wishes of angels
The islands of the soul are immense
And my paths are not understood
Africa, Europe, America
To which is this best path for me?
The milky way pours out at my feet
The northern lights smile
The sand in the hourglass runs through my fingers
The morning light lights up my heart
I have waited for this day for years
find my line/string of Ariane
The wind of old Psalms
Teaches me the real meaning of prayer
The old world, like the dream of a dinosaur
What will it give me tomorrow?
The secrets of the pyramids aren't opened
The word of love isn't let out
The islands of the soul are immense
And my paths are not understood
Africa, Europe, America
To which is this best path for me?
The expectation of sun rays
And the excuses of salty tears?
Complicated questions – a simple answer
Is there eternal happiness or not?
The song "Aurora" by Origa is a poetic exploration of the mystic and existential themes that define the human experience. The lyrics open with a vivid image of the Milky Way spreading out like a path beneath the singer's feet, setting the stage for a journey of self-discovery and enlightenment. The Aurora, a symbol of both natural beauty and spiritual enlightenment, is personified as a smiling guide, who beckons the singer forward on her quest.
Throughout the song, the imagery is intricate and evocative, incorporating references to luminous crystals, blue seas, reflecting rivers, and wishes of angels. At the same time, the lyrics grapple with weighty philosophical questions about the nature of time, love, and the human soul. The singer wonders about the secrets of the pyramids and the eternal search for happiness, all while searching for meaning in the world around her.
Despite all the uncertainty and complexity of the journey, the final stanza offers a glimpse of hope and fulfillment. The singer reveals that she has waited many years for this day, and the winds of ancient psalms are teaching her the real meaning of prayer. Even as she struggles to understand her place in the world, the beauty of the natural world around her provides a source of solace and inspiration.
