Esta canción se la dedicó a Erika Buenfil, que era su novia y se iban a casar, pero ella lo abandono por otra persona, amigo de Oscar, y se cuenta que en la sala de la casa donde vivirían había una fotografía de ella de casi metro y medio de alto, y cuando se entero que lo había abandonado por el amigo, escribo esta canción en ese lugar.

Al igual cuando el la enfrento para que le aclarara su traición, ella solo le dijo que ya no lo quería, y fue cuando también escribió la canción de "perdóname", también dedicada a ella.

Oscar dejó a Erika por Yuri, tenían una relación muy tormentosa y la familia de él esperaba siguiera con los negocios familiares, pues en cuanto la dejó se casó. Mucho tiempo Erika dijo que Oscar era su gran amor
