Being a classically trained pianist, the piano and other keyboard instruments such as the celesta are often at the center of his creations. Nonetheless, he is always eager to explore new sounds and instruments such as the trumpet and cornet which he taught himself for his latest EP, Odesa, adding a new color palette to his sound.
His compositions are often melancholic and nostalgic but also joyful and peaceful, offering a reflection of the beauty and struggles of life and taking the listener on a journey to the depths of their soul and the heights of their dreams.
In addition to producing music, Oskar also creates the artwork and music videos for his releases in collaboration with his wife, Angie Siveria. Together they craft a cohesive visual aesthetic that complements the music and adds another layer of meaning to it.

She is right in front of you
You begin to wonder could you find a better one
Compared to her now she′s in question
And all at once the crowd begins to sing
Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same
Maybe you started to compare to someone not there
Looking for the right one you line up the world to find
Where no questions cross your mind
But she won't keep on waiting for you without a doubt
Much longer for you to sort it out
And all at once the crowd begins to sing
Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same
Maybe you want her, maybe you need her
Maybe you started to compare to someone not there
Maybe you want it, maybe you need it
Maybe it′s all you're running from
Perfection will not come
And all at once the crowd begins to sing
Sometimes
We'd never know what′s wrong without the pain
Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same
Maybe you want her, maybe you need her
Maybe you′ve started to compare to someone not there
Maybe you want it, maybe you need it
Maybe it's all you′re running from
Perfection will not come
Maybe you want her, maybe you need her
Maybe you had her, maybe you lost her to another
To another
The lyrics to Oskar Schuster's song Valtameri speak to the struggle of choosing between two people, one who is right in front of you and the other who is not present. The singer is questioning whether the person in front of them is really the best choice, comparing them to someone who is not there. As the crowd begins to sing, the singer realizes that sometimes the hardest choice and the right choice are the same. They acknowledge the possibility that they want and need the person in front of them, but they are struggling with the idea of settling for something imperfect.
The lyrics explore the idea that perfection does not exist and that sometimes we need to make difficult choices in life. The singer is grappling with the question of whether they are settling for something less than perfect or if they are making the right choice. Through the chorus, the song suggests that pain and difficulty often accompany important decisions, and that it is through this pain that we can learn and grow.
Overall, Valtameri is a powerful meditation on the struggle of making choices in life and the importance of accepting imperfection. It encourages the listener to embrace the difficulty of decision-making and to trust their instincts and emotions.

Personally, Oskar is one of the greatest musicians of 21st century. That's just my opinion, arguing is reasonable. I think his music is simple yet touching and plays a melody for your soul. It creates such vibe that makes you drift away in thoughts far far away. This piece in particular makes you look onto the past like never before, as humans, what memories we create and forget. I sound so deep now i know, my opinion.
