In April 2005 the members of Other View meet for the first time as part of the same, complete, band:
* Lon HaWk (Aaron Gnaga), Vocals.
* Lord "Bomba" Meltdown (Matteo bombardi), Bass.
* Squarta (Mirko Cabras), Guitars.
* Steve "Van" (Stefano candi), Guitars.
* Simone "*****" Danesi, Drums.
After a few months of hard practice and composing the band decides to take part in the "Rockinbeat 2005/2006" Band Contest. Despite this being the first live experience for many members of the band their music is well appreciated and Other View quickly gains confidence to easily reach the competition's finals.
On the final night of the contest on the 27th May 2006 the band comes a very close second to be runner up in the contest.
In addition to Rockinbeat the band participates to other live events throughout 2006 such as "Rock in Rho" and the "Truck Festival", a charity event.
The groups most successful songs include "In A Tower Of Lies", the band's first song, often described as "a very musically complete and well arranged piece" and "Other View" a song who takes it's inspiration from the band's name. Later, the song "Balder's Dream" ad's it's name to the list of Other View's successes, the song is a very sweet, melodic ballad, partly inspired by Norse and Viking Mithology.
At the moment Other View are concentrating on writing new songs and recording, briefly stopping in order to prepare occasional Live Shows and Concerts and become better known by their ever growing number of dedicated and great fans.

Il progetto Other View, come band Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, inizia nel 2003 ma per ottenere la formazione definitiva e poter cominciare a comporre ed esibirsi dal vivo ci vogliono ben due anni.
Nell'Aprile 2005 gli Other View si ritrovano per la prima volta con l'attuale formazione:

* Lord "Bomba" Meltdown (Matteo Bombardi) al basso
* Squarta (Mirko Cabras)
* Van (Stefano Candi) alle chitarre
* Simone Danesi alla batteria.
Dopo qualche mese passato a provare cover e comporre pezzi propri, la band decide di partecipare al Rockinbeat 2005/2006. Nonostante per alcuni sia la prima esperienza live il gruppo riscuote un discreto successo nelle fasi preliminari, un successo che aumenta nelle fasi successive portando il gruppo in finale senza grandi difficoltà. Alla finale del 27 maggio gli Other View sfiorano il successo definitivo. piazzandosi al secondo posto.
Oltre al Rockinbeat nel 2006 la band partecipa anche ad altri eventi live quali una serata Rock a Rho ed un concerto a scopi benefici, il Truck Festival.
Le canzoni piu' rappresentative del gruppo sono "In a tower of lies", un pezzo ritenuto molto completo e ben arrangiato ed "Other View" che prende il suo titolo dal nome della band. A queste si è recentemente aggiunta "Balder's dreams" un lento molto melodico ispirato, in parte, dalla mitologia nordica e vichinga.
Al momento gli Other View si stanno concentrando sulla composizione e registrazione dei loro pezzi, interrompendo il lavoro solo per la preparazione di alcune esibizioni dal vivo per farsi meglio conoscere dal pubblico e per accontentare i loro già numerosi e crescenti fan.
