Cancer is a Word Not a Sentence

I took your hand and held you by my side
Even the doctor, broke down and cried
Is this a dream? A bad dream…

Cancer's just a word a tiny word
One I wish that I had never heard
I know you are afraid and feel defenseless
Cancer's just a word, it's not a sentence

We went home and cried ourselves to sleep
I woke up, you were smiling there at me
You are so Strong, Your so strong

Cancer's just a word a tiny word
One I wish that I had never heard
I know you are afraid and feel defenseless
Cancer's just a word, it's not a sentence

We will fight this fight, until it's time to quit
We will live each day like a precious gift
And tomorrow can wait…

Cancer's just a word a tiny word
One I wish that I had never heard
I know you are afraid and feel defenseless

Cancer's just a word, it's not a sentence
Cancer's just a word, it's just a word…

Rhod's ADHD and John's OCD is the best combination on telly lol

@ems7623

Yes .... Totally agree. Great television. But just be glad you don't have to live through anything like that in your own life. Take my word for it, an OCD/ADHD pairing as flatmates or in dating can be VERY challenging and stressful for both parties. My most promising relaitonship failed because of it. (I was the ADHD side of that and, well, any therapist will tell you that ADHD people often have difficulty sustaining long term relationships. What they don't tell you is that its not always because we're running off to the next interesting thing or person. More often, we're pushed away. Sigh.)

That cutlery scene ... Very real to me.

you know the sanity level is totally gone when Johnny Vegas is at a loss for how to proceed

@robfriesen2341

Of all the guests on every panel show, Rhod is the one I will watch immediately. He is Taskmaster legend and I love him on WILTY and here as well.

@neverlistentome

I would go so far as to say Rhod was the best to ever play the game Taskmaster.

@jeremymissens7608

I agree but I have to put Bob Mortimer right up there with Rhod, both of them are so fun to watch lol

@LankyLegs96

I would actually say controversially that Rhod was one of the worst! He didn't stick to the meaning of the tasks but not even within the notion of it being a smart interpretation, he did his own thing in the group tasks and was very crass and crude throughout - I genuinely didn't enjoy him being on much but I appreciate that may be just me, but think it's important to see the other side of things

@LankyLegs96

He's great on a panel show though

@jeremymissens7608

@@LankyLegs96 but the task master took his side because they're friend's lol it was entertaining, which ultimately is the point.
