Oxbow plays a blend of noise rock, avant-garde jazz, musique concrète (AMG), and blues, creating soundscapes caustic, or plangent, with overtones of paranoia, revulsion, exaltation.

The first album in 1989 combining the squall of bands like The Birthday Party with elements of free jazz and musique concrète from Oxbow, Fuckfest, met with international success and created a small but loyal following that has grown ever since.

Followed in 1992 by King of the Jews. The menacing The Balls in the Great Meat Grinder Collection also appeared in 1992, and after 1995's Steve Albini-produced Let Me Be a Woman Oxbow signed to the SST label for 1997's Serenade in Red, which featured guest vocals from Marianne Faithfull.

They released a split EP with the Italian band White Tornado in 1999, followed by An Evil Heat in 2002. The compilation Love That's Last: A Wholly Hypnographic and Disturbing Work Regarding Oxbow arrived in 2006.

Wenner has also played with God and Swell.

If you get one, Wysong has good food too. My giant ferret had horrible poop and I had him on antibiotics for a while. The doctor thought he would need meds that would help him be happy but end his life quicker. It took too long for the doctor to get the meds in so.... I heard the Holy Ghost tell me give him pumpkin in his food. I gave him pumpkin and critical care and now his poop is waaay more normal and often perfect. 😁😂. Long term use of pumpkin can cause growths in ferrets but mine is old and may be on his last leg. I LOVE MY FERRETS and when it's time, I give them lots of anesthesia and put them down. GOOD LUCK GETTING A FERRET!

I started as a new ferret mom in November ‘22 and I now have 4! Ibe wanted a ferret my whole life but never had the opportunity to have one until recently. I am so sad about that! I wish I started way sooner! They are the best pets! Shhhhh, don’t tell my other animals. 🤣 I’ve watched your videos for a while and you really helped me learn a good bit in how to keep them. Unfortunately in my area there isn’t many ferret vets and so we’re having a hard time finding one for my guys, but I’m crossing my fingers for that. Moral to my giant paragraph, thank you so much! 😊

I encourage y'all to look up a picture of a ferrets skull compared to rats and other rodents, it becomes VERY apparent on how they are in the weasel family

I know all these facts from my litttle cuties that steal from my room named “bug” and “spunky” they’re cute tho but they taught me every single fact (also my sister bc she told me some facts)

When I was like 7-9 me and my sister (ALSO my brother) got our first ferret but he has to share ofc we named him ratchet but here’s where it got sad..ratchet had a tumor and OFC ferrets end up having fragile body’s kind of and we had to go to the vet often for checkups and one day when he was like 5 since he was adopted by another person before us had him for 2-3 years I think before they for some reason re-homed him into PETCO- and listen don’t get me wrong when I was younger I loved petco but now I kinda hate them. Let’s not get into that story..after we got him he was SUPER SAD bc if you only have one..they’ll get depression because ferrets need playmates! And 3-4 months we got another one because my sister said we needed two because of your ferret gets depressed then..they’ll do sad and crazy things..but he wasn’t depressed anymore after we got spunky! They loved being cuddled while sleeping ❤️ but one morning everyone was eating and after breakfast in afternoon my sister (main owner of all 3 of us) she started getting worried so we all went to the vet and once they walked out the doors he was in his travel cage like normal when we travel with him and spunky, we left spunky at home because spunky wasn’t sure if he was ok but he thought he was ok so he went to sleep. Once we got home me and my brother started crying because something tragic happens but my dad any sister couldn’t tell us so we thought he was ok and just in dead sleep but when we got home my dad raped him in his..*death blanket* and told us he sadly died from the tumor also low health.. the vet said it wasn’t our fault since he was our first ferret but my sister did her research and all the work for us to be fair..so we put him in a chest he could fit in and put him in there we dug a hole and put roses in there and said our finale goodbye..

I just want everyone to know having ferrets is amazing but I want you all to know how expensive they can be. Most of the vet bills are going to be around 100 and if it's something serious you may need to pay above 1000 or more. They are considered exotic pets so if you do not have the money to pay vet bills you may want to rethink getting one. I have had 7. five out of those have had some type of disease or cancer. Some may need to be put down at an early age or need surgery at some point. It is wonderful having them and my love for them is unconditional. But please do your research they have a lot of problems when they get around five years old. Also buying expensive cages, bedding,food, litter, toys. And then you need the time to let them play at least four hours a day when kits then two hours a day as they get older and tend to sleep more. If all of that still sounds worth having them then please do as they are some of the sweetest pets I have had ❤
