Edit: UPDATE 3 MONTHS LATER. The author just "ended" the Tonikaku Kawaii manga. When I say ended, I actually mean he won't be releasing chapters weekly like he used to (that's what I've been told, at least).

So like others I came here from the Tonikawa manga, and while I'm here I think I'll write some of my thoughts about it and the anime adaptation, because I see this comment section like a living room with nice people (and great video tho.)
I started with the anime, and it really blew me off: I've watched hundreds of animes in my life, and I was getting bored with the repetitivity of some plots. But Tonikawa; it was really something else. It's a work of art who knows the rules, and WANTS to break it, while feeling pleasure. It deals with an amazing relationship between amazing characters, with a cast of non-main characters that aren't annoying and a lot enjoyable. The op, the ed, the osts, everything is beautiful in that anime.
Then, after finishing the anime, I immediately bought the manga, not willing to wait for an eventual second season, and the manga surprised me: it's a little different from the anime. Tsukasa is a lil colder, the atmosphere is more comedic than sentimental, and there are a lot of things absent in the anime. I think that Tonikawa is a media that must be consumed in all of its versions, and believe me, it truly is an experience. At the moment (volume 2) I prefer the anime, but they're both top tier medias.
It should be on the manuals of how to write something.
