Highway to Hell
P!nk Lyrics

Loving free
Season ticket on a one way ride
Asking nothing
Leave me be
Taking everything but my stride
Don't need reason
Don't need rhyme
Going down
Party time
My friends are gonna be there too, eh
I'm on a highway to hell
On the highway to hell
Highway to hell
Im'on the highway to hell
No stop signs
Speed limit
Nobody's gonna slow me down
Like a wheel
Gonna spin it
Nobody's gonna mess me 'round
Hey Satan
Payin' my dues
Playin' in a rockin' band
Hey momma
Look at me
I'm on my way to the Promised Land, woh
I'm on the highway to hell
Highway to hell
I'm on the highway to hell
Highway to hell
Mmm, don't stop me
No, oh, ouw
I'm on the highway to hell
On the highway to hell
I'm on the highway to hell
On the highway to
Hell
Highway to hell
I'm on the highway to hell
Highway to hell
Highway to hell
Highway to hell
I'm on the highway to hell
Highway to hell
And I'm goin' down,all the waa-ay-aay, wohh
I'm on the highway to hell
The lyrics to P!nk's cover of Highway to Hell, originally performed by AC/DC, are a celebration of rebellion and defiance. The first verse paints a picture of someone living life on their own terms, without any restrictions or expectations. They're not looking for a reason to do what they do - they're just doing what they love. The chorus then reveals that the singer is on a one-way trip to hell, with no intention of stopping. They're not interested in following rules or slowing down, and they don't care what anyone thinks about their choices. It's party time, and their friends are just as excited about the journey as they are.
The second verse doubles down on the idea of freedom and nonconformity. There are no stop signs or speed limits to hold the singer back, and they're going to keep spinning the wheel of their life without anyone messing them around. And even as they acknowledge that they're "paying their dues" to Satan, they're still proud to be part of a rockin' band and on their way to the Promised Land. The song closes with a repeating chorus and the singer proclaiming that they're "going down, all the way."
In summary, P!nk's cover of Highway to Hell is a glorious celebration of living life on one's own terms, without any constraints. The song encourages listeners to embrace their inner rebel and face life head-on, without worrying about what others think or trying to conform to societal expectations.
