Raise Your Glass
P!nk Lyrics

We gonna lose our minds tonight,
What's the dealio?
I love when it's all too much,
Five a.m. turn the radio up
Where's the rock and roll?
Panty snatcher,
Call me up if you want a gangsta
Don't be fancy, just get dancy
Why so serious?
So raise your glass if you are wrong,
In all the right ways,
All my underdogs,
We will never be never be, anything but loud
And nitty gritty dirty little freaks
Won't you come on and come on and raise your glass,
Just come on and come on and raise your glass
Slam slam, oh hot damn
What part of party don't you understand,
Wish you'd just freak out (freak out already)
Can't stop, comin' in hot,
I should be locked up right on the spot
It's so on right now (so fuckin' on right now)
Party crasher,
Panty snatcher,
Call me up if you want a gangsta
Don't be fancy, just get dancy
Why so serious?
So raise your glass if you are wrong,
In all the right ways,
All my underdogs,
We will never be never be, anything but loud
"Maybe gritty dirty little freaks"
Won't you come on and come on and raise your glass,
Just come on and come on and raise your glass
Won't you come on and come on and raise your glass,
Just come on and come on and raise your glass
(Oh shit my glass is empty, that sucks)
So if you're too school for cool,
And you're treated like a fool,
(Treated like a fool)
You can choose to let it go
We can always, we can always,
Party on our own
(So raise your, ah fuck)
So raise your glass if you are wrong,
In all the right ways,
All my underdogs,
We will never be never be, anything but loud
Maybe nitty gritty dirty little freaks
So raise your glass if you are wrong,
In all the right ways,
All my underdogs,
We will never be never be, anything but loud
Maybe gritty dirty little freaks
Won't you come on and come on and raise your glass,
Just come on and come on and raise your glass
Won't you come on and come on and raise your glass (for me)
Just come on and come on and raise your glass (for me)
"Raise Your Glass" by P!nk is an anthem for those who feel they don't fit in, the "underdogs" who will always be loud and proud. The song encourages listeners to let loose and enjoy life, even if they are perceived as "wrong" in some way. In the opening verse, P!nk sings about turning off the lights and losing your mind, asking "What's the dealio?" She loves it when things get wild, turning up the radio at 5 a.m. to find the rock and roll. She invites others to join her in letting loose, urging them not to be fancy, but just to dance.
The chorus is a call to arms for those who feel like they don't quite fit in. P!nk sings "Raise your glass if you are wrong, in all the right ways" - acknowledging that those who are different are often the most interesting and unique. She affectionately refers to these people as "nitty gritty dirty little freaks" and invites them to come together to celebrate their differences. The second verse continues in the same vein, with P!nk urging listeners to "freak out" and "come in hot." She reminds them that it's okay to be a "party crasher" or a "panty snatcher" - anything goes as long as you're having fun.
