Since the mixtape releases P.L. has been busy: readying the release of his highly anticipated street album “Hard Work”, performing in countless venues and concerts, and preparing everyone for the success and movement of Michigan's finest. His name has continuously been hot with a steady rise in the Midwest due to heavy radio play from his recent singles, "Let Me Hold Somethin" and the get fresh anthem, "Fresher Den You". While collaborating with an exceptional amount of local and major recording artists in order to establish and solidify his name, P.L. has expanded his name internationally. Recent tours overseas and appearances in Europe, Asia, Canada and more have done more than helped get P.L. noticed by the masses.
P.L. has collaborated with D12 for their recently released mixtape, "Return of The Dozen" and shared the mic with Jim Jones for a collaboration effort on P.L.'s mixtape "Without Warning Vol.2". Also, he traveled with Jim Jones and locally known Detroit artists K-Deezy, Stretch Money, and Tone Tone on a four-city promotional tour throughout Michigan: The Midwest Marauders Tour. He's opened for Fabolous, the late MC Breed, Camron, Juelz Santana and headliner Lil Jon and The Eastside Boyz in Atlanta.
P.L. has also found time in the past year to work behind the scenes, ghostwriting with Multi-Platinum Producer Needlz, who has produced “Piggybank” and “God Gave Me Style” for 50 Cent and “Let Me In” for Young Buck. He’s also been working with the Grammy Award Winning production team The J.U.S.T.I.C.E LEAGUE (Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Mary J. Blige and more). P.L. recently partook in D12’s “Who Wanna Battle” rap battle and crushed the competition while grabbing the attention of D12 members Bizarre and Swifty Mcvey. As a result of P.L.’s overwhelming win, the two D12 members asked P.L. to guest appear on an upcoming D12 project due out soon.
Even with all of these accomplishments under the “Punchline King’s” belt, he still continues to work at his music like nothing has happened. Be on the lookout for one of Michigan’s Best Kept Secrets, P.L.

Niggas in my face swear they can't leave me alone
Bitches side-eyein' baby tell me what's wrong
Oh I think I know why you mad I'm in my zone
I'm in my zone, if you not talkin' money get gone
Niggas in my face swear they can't leave me alone
Bitches side-eyein' baby tell me what's wrong
Aye I'm not trippin' off a bitch I'm trippin' off a check
So why you pussy sniffin and yo potna tryna flex
Got this money on my mental fuck the rest
And if you got a problem shorty get it off yo chest
See I done learned a lot I learned to move in silence
You silly muthafuckas really need some guidance
And please don't try to test cuz wit' that nonsense
I got a few goonies who get with that violence
But I don't think they hear me I don't think they do
You see I'm gone and in my zone and I ain't studdin' you
I'm tryna get it yeah from each and every avenue
It's natural just call me Bishop baby cuz I got the juice
I'm in my zone, if you not talkin' money get gone
Niggas in my face swear they can't leave me alone
Bitches side-eyein' baby tell me what's wrong
Oh I think I know why you mad I'm in my zone
I'm in my zone, if you not talkin' money get gone
Niggas in my face swear they can't leave me alone
Bitches side-eyein' baby tell me what's wrong
Oh I think I know why you mad I'm in my zone
Zonin', zonin', zonin' blowin' on some good
I got my weed I got my drank, you know I got the woods
I'm tryna chase this bag, know it's understood
All that drama you can keep it girl I swear I'm gooood
I'm feelin' frisky and I'm 'bout to leave a hicky
Even though I'm itty bitty, yo I bet he won't come quickly
And just know I'm very picky about who can get this kitty
When I'm zonin' I get beasty, I be like ohh Lord forgive me
Got 'em mad, I got 'em mad
Because right now I'm in my bag, I'm in my bag
I'm nothin' like he ever had, he ever had
He fell in love with my swagg, I need that bag, I'm in my zone
Got 'em mad, I got 'em mad
Because right now I'm in my bag, I'm in my bag
I'm nothin' like he ever had, he ever had
He fell in love with my swagg, I need that bag, I'm in my zone
I'm in my zone, if you not talkin' money get gone
Niggas in my face swear they can't leave me alone
Bitches side-eyein' baby tell me what's wrong

Aye yo man these bitches and niggas be soooo worried about P
But P worried about these checks tho (ya feel)
I'm in my zone (haha) What you mad at me fo
The lyrics of P.L.'s song "In the Zone" talk about an artist in his zone, focused exclusively on making money and ignoring everything else. He dismisses all the negativity, drama, and unnecessary attention from "niggas in his face" and "bitches side-eyein'". He claims to be "trippin' off a check" while "blowin' on some good" and "chasing the bag from every avenue". He is driven by his ambition and is not afraid to handle any problem with a few "goonies who get with that violence". The artist confidently proclaims that he is unstoppable and unaffected by the people around him, and he is fully immersed in his hustle.
The song is full of slang and colloquial language typical of hip-hop music. It portrays a cocky yet self-assured persona of the artist. It is a tribute to the hustle and the grind that comes with success. The lyrics also emphasize the importance of a clear focus and determination to achieve one's goals.
