Now this town is strongest in game in my opinion, fair lvl 1 creature, nice archers - immediate upgrade (double shot), swordsmen with great passive, double strike, griffins with retallation, second archers, monks with huge dmg if in large numbers, champions, tanky fighters, great dmg and ofc the strongest creatures in game if we dont include neutral creatures, with great passive which makes this town an excellent choice to outrun your enemies! The only think lacking is magic again cuz its limited on lvl 4 but oh well. :)

I think it is the strongest town stats-wise . Conflux might beat it , but close enough . Necro is generally the strongest town . You cant beat Vamps and 1000+ skeles .

I remember there was a huge building, 6x4 spaces on the map, almost as big as a town, and it was the hardest challenge in the game. The Dragon Paradise or something, basically it was guarded to the teeth with dragons, but after you liberated it, you could recruit any/all the dragons in the game.

I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time. It's been ages since I've played the games. Also my opinion on the towns: Tower was my favorite since you could easily spam spells and ranged attacks, since almost everything but genies, gargoyles and naga could do ranged attacks. It was also because of this play style that Necropolis (as cool as it is) was my weakest town. I think only liches were ranged attackers.

In HoMM2 you get to summon a red dragon every week if you 'liberate' the Dragon Utopia. In the later versions you just get a horde of artifacts and money.

Ah yes, the dragons from the expansion are indeed stronger. Archangel is the strongest "regular" unit.

Overall Castle has the best creature setup and a kickass building (Stables), but most of its Heroes are sub-par. Adela stands out because she starts with Bless (works well with most Castle creatures) and Diplomacy is cheap as hell, and Sir Mullich's +2 Speed is almost gamebreaking.

Naga Queen has no retalation ability and has 30 damage. Dread knight is 2nd strongest 6lv unit. His damage is 15-30 and has retalation ability...but sometimes has double damage.

i can't decide betwenn my favorite but i think the best castles are : The Conflux, The Tower, and the Dungeon. The conflux has good monsters (units) and it has the university of magic so it makes it like the tower .the thowe has the strogest magic and a lot of strong monsters also the tower has a lot of archer units.The dungeon is tied with the conflux evry time you go in to the castle you get + 30 mana then each new hero gets + 1000 xp also the portal of summning is cool so they all rock

Castle is the strongest town of all..thust me..I spended my whole childhood and teen ages playing Heroes. Tower owns Dungeon anytime but Tower dont have a chance against Castle.

Not to mention they have no weak units. Mediocre swordsmen is the worse it gets, and even they have a cool double attack when upgraded.

My top eight of all towns in Homm3 is: 1. Conflux (Phoenix's can't get enough!) 2. Stronghold ( Ancient Behemoth, just wonderfull beast with talons big as a person) 3. Fortress (Gorgons, do i have to say more?) 4. Castle (Champions, becasue they're awesome like hell) 5. Dungeon (Dragons, Magical immunity ftw!) 6. Rampart (Droids, slow but tough) 7. Tower (ArchMagi, their attack is just pure awesomeness) 8. Inferno (ArchDevils, the way they move on the battlefield, so cool).

How about the dragons if you can remember? I remember you could buy dragons at specific places around the bigger maps. Seems like they have removed that now.

Yeah I guess that what NVLUTZ007 means, except Utopia gives you 5 artifacts... I don't think there's a building in the game where you could recruit any kind of dragon.

my favourite town...because i love Archangel that creature is so real in this game:P but in heroes 4 and 5 the angel become very bad and ugly creature:( I love Crusader too the second stronger town I think is tower...and i love Titan too:P

I always disliked cities which didn't have a level 5 mage guild. Especially if your first hero is not a type of might but magic. In castle it was like "Oh, you want Implosion? Well, f*ck you, you're not gonna have it".

:) OK...where you installed your game, it's a folder among those for the game called MP3 that has all the songs from the game! (i have Heroes Complete Edition...maybe you won't find it like that in other editions but give it a try)

@dk44552008 Enemy heroes can have dispell, resistance, haste (which counters slow). If you're playing against computer - then yeah, it is easy. Against a good player - noone will give you the opportunity to cast slow, haste, curse at the same time.

I played EVERY heroes might and magic game and its expansion, my first was 3 and its my top favorite game of all time i spend 150+ on multiplayer with my buddies, 1 and 2 are nice but they didnt age well because of 3, 4 is plain boring to me, i dont like the grapichs, sound or factions, 5 is a mixed bag, i like the fighting more and the factions are ok, but i wish they would stop trying to make it look like lord of the rings.

It should be a direct IP connection to play the game, which will mean that either you host and I connect to your IP, or I'll host and you connect to mine. I'll only post the IP address in private messaging though.

casting types hero are better. u can't even touch them with slow on ur creature. they can just haste, move and shoot. killing easily. with curse, dirupting ray, creatures of damaging type heros is tickle and they r defenseless . plus u can resurrect when battling.

Lol...units aren't the strongest? -Halberd = Slow but durable, beats Centaur Captains in a 50-50 deathmatch. -Marksman = Great mine clearer early on -Royal Griffin = Best Lv 3 -Crusader = Slow but deals the most damage of any Lv 4 -Zealots suck, I'll give you that. -Champion = Decent overall if you use them well -Archangel = Not counting Conflux (growth rate) the best Lv 7 without a single doubt.

@zerfsun lol, i seen parties with x0 k skeletons (x from 2 to 9, k mean 1000, so tens of thousand), also i seen parties with hundreds, maybe even thousands of tier 4 or tier 5 mobs (ogres, crusaders, horned demons... thunderbirds, gorgons, minotaurs..), all u need is, when playing on XL map, diplomacy, air and earth masteries the most disturbing thing, i seen hero Vidovina from necropolis with those skills, and that hero also have necro spec... imagine that x.x

Apart from a lack in theme epicness and tier 5 magic, one of the reasons I never liked this faction is because humans are BORING. Yes, the creatures are very powerful, but the whole monks and knights thing is nearly not as fun as running a couple of devils or dragons around, being evil and whatnot.

I am talking about L or XL maps. where all the buildings would be built and upgraded so: 1.Read above 2.Read no1 Actually I hate Castle and I think its a default town for noobs...my fav town is Tower...I played hotseat for a decade so I am not talking to be "cool"...dude put 5 populations of army from tower and 5 from castle WITHOUT hero magics and u will be shocked.

yeh necro is no so good even tought i put a A- is just cause when you kill someone you get more skelotons and also there is a campaing if you beat it then you can get zombies ,ghosts and etc.yeah the only good monsters in that castle are vampires ,leaches, and dark knights
