I lived really calm, without worries. I used to listen to this song at full volume everywhere. It filled me with a lot of good energy and joy.
2019 came around when I lost several important people over the course of the months.

Okey.
I heard this song in early 2015. I loved it so much that started listening to it on repeat for the whole year, and obviously memories of 2015 got attached to this song. At 16 years old, this year became really important and decisive in my life afterwards. So at New Year’s Eve I promised myself that I would come to New York and sit on that same bank, play the song as many times as needed and just enjoy it.

3 years later finally found a way to go to NY from Spain. And the first thing I did was came to the spot and fulfill my desire. But the whole area was closed at the time, and at the reopening I was already back on Spain... I went all around the area trying to find a location similar, with no luck. So I was frustrated.

Now, at the time I’m writing this, November, 27 2019. I can finally say I did it guys. Spend the whole day here, playing on repeat and just enjoying this incredible views.

Maybe you can think this is no-sense, that it’s not a big deal. And maybe you’ll be right. But after completing this dream. I can say it was worth it.

This is my favorite city, along with my favorite song. Thank you Biggie, Matoma, and Chill Masters. And all the New Yorkers out there. Feel proud of your home guys, have you all in my heart.

I don't understand why people are calling Matoma "talentless" and this beat "corny." This takes a lot of talent to make. Sure, you could call the idea simple, but there are so many small details that go into making a song sound this good. There are plenty of aspects of the song that go completely unnoticed, but if they weren't there, it would significantly reduce the quality of the song. Artists spend crazy amounts of time on these details. I saw a comment claiming that "anyone can make this." That is false. It takes a certain frame of mind, dedication/discipline, natural talent, insight into music theory, etc. In my opinion, this is incredible work and not at all corny.

Ever first time i listened to this is when i was in the changing room of a very superb clothes store. They played this randomly according to the list, and all the staff were having fun while doing their job, they were dancing and hanging on the clothes at the same time. Whenever i listen to this, it reminds me of how energetic and yolo both the staff and I have been so far
