Emphasis on complicating matters of rhythm, melody and (dis)harmony, combining delirium with psychosis and spontaneity with higher-dimensional coherence.
Now defunct, PENTAGONIC explored the limits of their own minds and expertise to create noisy symphonic fugues existing entirely on their own terms. Chords materialised from the apparent maelstrom of dislocated sound, building into soundscapes of subtle melody to create a pleasantly out-of-time, and sometimes disturbing aural experience.
MR BLACK
Guitar, Noise, FX master/ slave, non-rhythmic bassage, ashtray, wind-conductor on "Session", general abstractions, pre-production.
MR RED
Bass, clean guitar (except on Art Gallery) and frettapping, Didgeridoo vocals, occasional keys.
PENTAGONIC was formed in 2000 by Mr Black and Mr Red with help from numerous hand-picked shamanic aides, Seamus their white-haired guru, The Void, friends and other assorted friends.
The partnership dissolved in 2002; Mr Black taking his noise-pop sensibilities with him to never find later use, moving away from the haphazard heavy psych towards an expansive mathcore-esque style / gave up on music after realising neither he or anyone else could ever hope to surpass the magic that was PENTAGONIC / got a job and things, none of which really fit into the PENTAGONIC style. Mr Red learnt to play the bass properly too and also got a job but mostly found satisfaction playing the piano for his mum.
They briefly reformed in 2002 but this was sadly short-lived and produced only a few tracks of note because someone had misplaced "the vibe", before splitting up for good in 2002 when they realised they'd influenced a whole new generation who had taken their sounds in new, scary directions.
Side-projects:
Silver Hammer was Mr Black's outlet for his infrequent power metal urges and variations on the Top Gun theme. Sometime collaborators included greg.
Unknown and other projects that never really had names or at least none that can be recalled and only exist in highly rare one-pressing demo form.

This read is 3 minutes long but worth reading imo.
To my embarrassment and some shame, I've partaken in many streets/bar fights/competition fights/work related fights in my life, some were unavoidable but some could have been avoided but I can absolutely state that I was never a bully but rather engaged bullies by defending weaker kids/men as I aged. I've won some and lost some both in street fights and competitions and career related hand to hand combat and am/was about an 800 rated fighter but that's not important. This is just to put context and explain where I am coming from in my following statements.
What is important is that I suffered many various injuries in the process throughout the years, from broken arm, fingers, cut ligaments by human tooth in 3 separate fights and 3 different knuckles on the same hand to which infection was severe enough to have to get antibiotics shots through a catheter, going to the hospital every 8 hrs for the first and second of the 3 fights and the third one I had to stay for a few days in hospital due to infection requiring antibiotics every 4 hrs (ask anyone who's been in a fight where they cut open their skin on a human tooth, your hand, wrist and forearm swells up like crazy from human saliva infection), broken ankle, broken foot (required surgery, 2 pins and 2 month cast), nose broken 9 times (had 2 nasal repair surgeries), knife injury (32 stitches), been scratched, lost patches of hair, got hit with pool sticks, hit by a bottle to my eye and another which was broken on my head (17 stitches), broken open swollen lips, black eyes and so on, I'm sure you get the gist of it, I have so many scars that you probably could make a drawing by connecting the dots of all my scars. And therefore, trust me, this does make me an expert on bruises, swellings, broken bones, broken skin, broken and swollen lips and so on.
I've heard Amber Heard's accusations of getting her nose broken, swollen and cut lips, swollen cheeks and other bruises from other supposed physical abuses causing visible injuries. And YES, I've seen all the pictures and heard all testimonies that talked about the supposed visible injuries one day and gone the next as per Amber Heard herself. The bruises in the pictures are absolutely fake because they are only showing superficial bruises without any deformation of her facial features, were those bruises real and her nose truly broken, you would easily see some swelling around all those areas, broken nose equals automatic black eye or eyes and major swelling in specific various areas and her lip would be automatically swollen to a point that cannot be questioned, mistaken or doubted. And NO ice can't take the swelling down in 24hrs to the point where it's unnoticeable, actually 24 hrs later is when the swelling is at its most visible.
There's absolutely no cream in existence that could heal such bruises in 12-24 hrs or take down the swelling if those bruises were real. There's no makeup on earth that could hide real bruises of a swollen broken nose and start of black eye/eyes. Have the pictures been doctored, I say no, what I say yes to is, those bruises are well made through make up to try and show realistic bruises but there's no swelling anywhere to confirm those superficial bruises. And there's no way that such bruises without the swelling, could/would dissipate within 24 hrs or couldn't be seen in the time frame she mentions and the fact that no one noticed any such bruising when they were either up far or up close as some witnesses testified so far.
We're all so used to seeing Amber Heard all dolled up with makeup and looking like a model that just seeing her up close without any make up already makes a huge difference in our visual perception, then add some well-placed make up to fake false bruises, take pictures with just the right manipulated lighting and you got yourself magical appearing and disappearing bruises without the swelling that comes with such bruises. In the following days after these supposed injuries/bruises happened, not one person saw those bruises and any swelling, heck even her own doctor didn't notice anything on her face. Look up facial bruises on google images and see the real thing by comparing from first 24 hrs and for a whole week and judge for yourself, there's absolutely no such injuries as she described receiving and took pictures of. Johnny Depp's team in their opening statements got it right, Amber Heard is acting for the role of her life! I just hope the jury can see through this. Something tells me that cross examination is going to break her down and expect tons of objections from her legal team. In a situation like this I would usually say something sarcastic like "and the Oscar goes to", but in her case I can't even say that because her acting was horrendous in my opinion.

I’m also guessing that bruised arm was practice makeup for her face. I’m betting she wore that out to see if anyone noticed it. To gage reactions. Was it believed by those who saw it. It probably wasn’t her first. Just the first successful makeup bruise that fooled ppl.
It was a moment to photograph BECAUSE she was PROUD of her work and NOT bc she was actually documenting a bruise -but more of a proud moment that she had become skilled enough to fool some ppl and felt she was ready to fake her face next.
The bruise on her arm is days old. Why take the photo at that stage? Why not take it at it worse? Why? Because it’s easier to create an older greener bruise w makeup. They’re blended coloring w little contrast. Fresh bruises require bolder colors, harder outlines etc.
I hate Amber. Have I mentioned this?
Someone of Authority NEEDS to SAVE the innocent child that’s so sadly been in her care. The fact that she’s being allowed to destroy a child is more upsetting to me than anything else going on.
