The band's debut album, "Meet Me At The Muster Station" (released October 5, 2010), was reviewed favorably (8.1) by Pitchfork Media, who called it "a compact debut that nonetheless feels momentously epic". As well, their track "Facelove" received an 8 and was branded "Best New Music" by Pitchfork Media.
PS I Love You's "Meet Me at Muster Station" received Exclaim!'s No. 4 spot for Top Pop & Rock Albums of 2010. Writer Alex Hudson describes the band's debut as "fully formed." Hudson goes on to say, "this Kingston duo delivers its catchy hooks with brute force, pummelling listeners with fuzzy guitars and thundering rhythms."

all i want is more than i ever had.
how do you deal. how do you. with me (x4)
what is this. why are we doing this. forgive us. forgive our phone bills (x2)
we're talking. we're talking in the dark. how do you. how do you keep the spark
The lyrics of PS I Love You's song How Do You convey a sense of uncertainty and insecurity in a relationship. The repetition of "how do you deal with me" emphasizes the singer's self-doubt and the fear that they may not be easy to love. The line "all I want is more than I ever had" suggests that the singer is looking for something more fulfilling in their relationship than they have experienced in the past.
The second stanza adds a layer of confusion to the lyrics. The question "what is this. why are we doing this" indicates that the singer may be questioning the purpose of their relationship or why they are going through the ups and downs of a romance. The mention of phone bills suggests that the relationship may be long-distance or that communication is difficult for some reason. The last line, "how do you keep the spark", reveals that the singer may be struggling with keeping the passion alive in their relationship.
Overall, the lyrics of How Do You are reflective and introspective, exploring the complexities of a relationship and the challenges of maintaining connection and intimacy.

My 1st husband and I watched this 3 weeks before he died in a car accident.. we both cried about the movie, and then it happened for me... I can probably never watch this movie again, and its been nearly 10 years since he passed. I will say she did a tremendous job of being a grieving widow.

I remember balling like a baby in the scene where she's singing & imagining him sitting at a table proudly watching her.
But yeah, I had tears through the rest of the movie too.. even in the happy scenes 😄

I watched this for the first time today. Alway heard about it, never got around to watching it. I cried through the whole damn thing. The movie was done so well, the acting was on point and I fell in love with Gerry immediately, and resonated with Holly's feelings and all the heart wrenching moments she went through. Just completely and utterly heartbreaking, even though the movie suggests a potential ending where she could possibly move on. I can't even put into words the emotions I felt, and the realization that I will probably never find this type of love.
