Nocturno

Manifiestos, escritos, comentario, discursos
Manifiestos, escritos, comentario, discursos
Humaredas perdidas, neblinas espantadas
The lyrics of Paco Ibañez's song "Nocturno" paint a picture of frustration and anger towards the inability of words to truly express the suffering and grievances of the marginalized. The first stanza describes how the anger and hatred of those who suffer without sleep courses through their veins and bones. The second stanza laments how all the manifestos, writings, commentaries, discourses, and even the smoke and mist that they produce ultimately come to nothing, as they fade away with time or are erased by water.
