Here's to the People
Paddy Goes to Holyhead Lyrics

[chorus:]
So, here′s to the people, a long way they come
The emigrant races from merciless places are run
So, here′s to the people, a long way they come
The emigrant races from merciless places are run

They don′t believe what the government said
They don′t like to wait until they′re dead
For thousands of reasons many have fled
From animosity and bloodshed

[chorus]

Fathers and mothers, young and old
Children and grannies along they strolled
You don′t know the stories they were told
Of the land they will behold

[chorus]

Gute , Alte , Zeit

Hallo steyer!
