It's a quiet village
Every day
Like the one before
Little town
Full of little people
Waking up to say
Bonjour
Bonjour Bonjour Bonjour
There goes the baker with his tray, like always
The same old bread and rolls to sell
Every morning just the same
Since the morning that we came
To this poor provincial town
Good Morning, Belle
'Morning, Monsieur
Where are you off to
The bookshop. I just finished the most wonderful story
about a beanstalk and an ogre and a
That's nice. Marie, the baguettes hurry up
Look there she goes that girl is strange, no question
Dazed and distracted, can't you tell
Never part of any crowd
'Cause her head's up on some cloud
No denying she's a funny girl that Belle
Bonjour
Good day
How is your family
Bonjour
Good day
How is your wife
I need six eggs
That's too expensive
There must be more than this provincial life
Ah, Belle
Good Morning. I've come to return the book I borrowed
Finished already
Oh, I couldn't put it down. Have you got anything new
Ha Ha! Not since yesterday
That's all right. I'll borrow, this one
That one? But you've read it twice
Well, it's my favorite! Far off places, daring sword fights
magic spells, a prince in disguise
If you like it all that much, it's yours
But sir
I insist
Well, thank you. Thank you very much
Look there she goes that girl is so peculiar
I wonder if she's feeling well
With a dreamy far-off look
And her nose stuck in a book
What a puzzle to the rest of us is Belle
Oh, isn't this amazing?
It's my favorite part because you'll see
Here's where she meets Prince Charming
But she won't discover that it's him 'til chapter three
Now it's no wonder that her name means "beauty"
Her looks have got no parallel
But behind that fair facade
I'm afraid she's rather odd
Very diff'rent from the rest of us
She's nothing like the rest of us
Yes, diff'rent from the rest of us is Belle
Wow! You didn't miss a shot, Gaston, You're the greatest
hunter in the whole world!
I know.
No beast alive stands a chance against you. Ha ha ha and
no girl, for that matter.
It's true, LeFou. And I've got my sights set on that one
Hmm the inventor's daughter
She's the one - the lucky girl I'm going to marry
But she's
The most beautiful girl in town.
I know, but
That makes her the best. And don't I deserve the best
Well, of course! I mean you do, but
Right from the moment when I met her, saw her
I said she's gorgeous and I fell
Here in town there's only she
Who is beautiful as me
So I'm making plans to woo and marry Belle
Look there he goes
Isn't he dreamy
Monsieur Gaston
Oh he's so cute
Be still my heart
I'm hardly breathing
He's such a tall, dark, strong and handsome brute
Bonjour
Pardon
Good day
Mais oui
You call this bacon
What lovely grapes
Some cheese
Ten yards
One pound
'Scuse me
I'll get the knife
Please let me through
This bread
Those fish
It's stale
They smell
Madame's mistaken
There must be more than this provincial life
Just watch, I'm going to make Belle my wife
Look there she goes a girl who's strange but special
A most peculiar mademoiselle
It's a pity and a sin
She doesn't quite fit in
'Cause she really is a funny girl
A beauty but a funny girl
She really is a funny girl
That Belle
The song Belle from the Disney movie "Beauty and the Beast" was composed by Alan Menken and its lyrics by Howard Ashman. It starts with Belle describing the small village that she lives in, where life is predictable, everyone knows each other, and mornings begin with greetings of "Bonjour". The lyrics then introduce the various characters of the village, such as the baker and the bookshop owner, and their interactions with Belle. Throughout the song, Belle is portrayed as different from everyone else because of her love for books and her disregard for typical societal norms. Meanwhile, Gaston, the village's vain and self-centered man, is set up as the antithesis of Belle, as he ensures that he is the center of every conversation and wants to marry Belle simply because she is beautiful, whereas no one else is quite like her.

Lalalai lalalai
When our heartbeats collide
I won't mind, in a place we've never been before
I wanna know who you are
I wanna know it all
The moment that life hits you
You can't avoid the issue
You're disconnected from the world you thought you were part of
Stand up, the part's over here
Come one, come all jump into the fire
Step in, you are whatever you wanna be
You are free just like all of us are
Dance away a world you nevеr loved from the start
It's our ride to thе future, are you ready to depart?
Lalalai lalalai
When our heartbeats collide
I won't mind, in a place we've never been before
I'm reaching out for the moon and stars beyond it
Lalalai lalalai
Is it you I will find?
Though I feel left behind sometimes when you close the door
We didn't waste our time here it's now or never
(Gales of Song)
But not that you've gone
I have to move on
Seems like everyone
Just smile staring at the sun
But what about me?
Tell me how I will know where I should go?
Oh gales, you sing and guide me!
I walk alone
There's more to life I have to know
It's just me, lost so far away from home
Alone I shut myself in
Still the winds howl, they call
And their voices lead me
Fales of song, guide me through the storm
Let the melody life me high, I'll be me
[Lend Me Your Voice]
It's easy to push me away from you
It isn't hard, yes I know that's what you'll say
It's what you have told yourself over and over again
In darkness
You try to hold back all the thoughts
Lend me your voice
Let me see your face
Let me start to show you what I see
Bring me close
Let me come and sit by the fire
Just let me come close to your heart
(A Million Miles Away)
Light glimmers in a flower
Like jewels in a dream
The sky breathes life
Love to everything
Come back to me, and stay by my side
I feel my heart shake
Come, ease this ache
I'm standing over here, reaching for you
A million miles away
Come back and stay
Sing, let your heart soar! Sing forever!
Sad and so happy!
Feelings flow over, now
Our world is full of all kinds of colors
Closing my eyes I still can see the stars
Shine in the sky, sing their harmony
Flowers, they're blooming
Oh it's beautiful
Sing this song, I won't stop now
Sing it through, I love you
The voice carries on

I know a lot of people didn't like the plot of the movie, but to be honest I loved it. I had a great time and really loved how unpredictable the movie was for me.
[Spoiler Alert ↓]
I liked the fact that the beast wasn't just Shinobu because it would just be very cliche and too obvious, it would just feel like a repeat of a movie I've already watched thousands of times.
I love how at the end she finally understands why her mother risked her life and saved that kid.
The scene where she sang to the world with her real appearance was beautiful.
The criticism to how nobody does anything about child abuse and how those children seek for an escape in another world, but are exposed to dangerous situations, such as everyone wanting to dox Kei.
It wasn't perfect but, for me, it was far more enjoyable then the plot of beast shinobu and belle suzu.

Somebody give this singer and the people involved a Grammy for this masterpiece! It's incredibly difficult to translate a song from one language to another while keeping the rhythm and pace of the original melody.
Skylark
I hope so too it's rare for a singer to sing close to the Japanese version, they did so well.
Aaron Heininger
I'm sure they thought about that when writing the music. After all anime good enough is destin to be translated to English eventually
Majesty ZX
@Aaron Heininger that's kind of xenophobic.
A Sleepy Dude
Grammy sucks with actually giving awards to earned artists so I doubt it’ll happen but she definitely deserves it

The storyline itself isn’t what hits you so hard. It’s the struggle and connection of the characters. I really do love this movie and the music in it.
R'llo Arhsaakxianutsi
Yeah. It's why I felt so strong with them. The struggles they went through. The paths and hardships from accepting death, letting someone go, trusting in a person. All those things we faced. I am disappointed in the love part that was dropped but the characters and their struggles of each one hit me so hard. That's what I loved. The connection with them.

I also think that the movie might critizise how child abuse is normalized. I don't think Japan has Child Protective Services, too.
NPC 💀
It's will written tho, but many dislikes it for being far from what they expected. Many thought it will be a romantic thingky which is not bc the anime didn't focus on lovestory but on obstacles that the main character experience. TBH I got confused so much bc it though it's gonna be like "Beauty and beast" but it's not. They just get the main idea and totally changed the whole plot and setting and that's what makes it unique ✨. But this anime has so many messages and portrays real life obstacles ; like the app, people uses it to escape reality; the Child Abuse which is a message to Japan bc they neglected that issue; and belle for having longtime sadness, depression, trauma bc she lost her mother and the reason she give up her talent and keeping away her dad and childhood friend bc she thought it's for the best . She lost half her childhood and to become unhappy bc of sorrows.
