Undergoing several member changes (the original lineup consisted of Daphne Rubin-Vega, Suzi Ranta, and Jennifer McQuilken. This lineup turned into Daphne, Lynn Critelli, and Amanda Homi; and finally Daphne, Lynn, and Marialisa Constanzo), the band released two albums: 1989's "Up All Night" and 1991's "Can't Live Without It." The group split sometime during 1991-92. Rubin-Vega went on to Broadway fame as the original Mimi in "Rent", however, Critelli and Constanzo both seemingly faded into obscurity.

There actually have been freestyle concerts here in NYC every year, at least before the pandemic. I haven't gone, but if I remember correctly, some of the artists who were scheduled to perform were Noel, Lizette Melendez, Judy Torres, TKA, Stevie B, Alisha, George Lamond, Johnny O, Cynthia, Coro. Again, I never went, so I may be misremembering some of the artists I mentioned.

These freestyle tracks of the joint right here because I was done a teenager living in the 90s and was still in high school during the time when he had this single on the radio because I remember listening to Philadelphia’s WIOQ known as Q102 FM radio Which played this single over the air over 30 years ago because I remembered on Saturday nights, Q102 once had a radio program, known as club 102, which had all of the dance remixes of the freestyle singles from the late 80s and early 90s because I used to sit up in my bedroom and listen to all these remixed singles from various DJs which plays them on the radio and then I will record every single remix on a cassette tape in which I still have now.
