Sweet Water
Palmas Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I wanna move to California,
where the fine little water is sweet
i'm gonna find a pretty girl
gonna take her out to the beach
i'm gonna run my fingers all
through her hair
i'm gonna lay her down next to me
i really wanna
i really wanna do what's right
i really wanna
ooooo,
can we go out tonight?
Tell me you won't break my heart,

i really wanna do what's right
can we go out tonight?

Biggest waves ever surfed in PR were at 'Wilderness' winter of 1975
There was a stack of three cold fronts (froze the oranges in Florida)
causing a "Massive" swell.
Only three men out, one of which was Gary Branham, who got a photo
in "surfer Magazine" > captioned "riding a wilderness giant"
We had to stand on a van roof to see those riders make their bottom turns,
and the whole parking area was vibrating from the shore break. Wishing well
was not even breaking as Wilderness was taking all of the swell.

Incredible...6 lifeguards went to P.R. in '65. Hit almost all the spots. Tres Palmas was note worthy, for it's size, ride ability, incredible tube, and incredibly beautiful ocean water. World wide classic. Because of the angle of the drone it's a bit hard to estimate the size. Big difference, we were the crowd.

Sick waves... Biggest in PR by far.

Good but I take Wilderness any time. Surfed it in the 90s and was amazing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oekObH5dnlU&t=9s Also surfed Rincon a few times but IMO was overrated and crowed it. Aguadilla and Isabela were my favs.

I agree, In 1975 I saw it well over triple overhead, it is a very powerful wave, and is a 'world-class' when the stars align.
