God
Pan Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

There is a part of me that's always sixteen
I've found the secret of eternal youth
Some get high on life or money, but there's an
Escape, drop out of the race.
- To walk through the world by ones self, you can't be
Protected... your trust is in whiskey and weed and
Black Sabbath - It's Goddamn Electric
Don't waste your time, embrace it
And then you'll know yourself
The change in you is Goddamn Electric

The weight of the world has lifted and parted
My eyes roll blind to sights that distracted
Through tunnel-vision and dope-hair blinders
I'll cut a path and evoke my will
- To walk through the world by ones self, you can't
Be protected... your trust is in whiskey and weed
And Slayer, it's Goddamn Electric

Don't fake your life - inhale it
And then you'll know yourself
The change in you is Goddamn Electric
Don't waste your time, embrace it
Annd then you'll know yourself
The change that is Goddamn Electric will focus>
The Mind's Eye...

One hand on the bottle, the other a shaking
Fist, rejuvinated, isolated, no pressure
From the outside, my sight's Goddamn Electric

And these eyes have seen a world
Goddamn Electric system...

i’m the child of pan
the god of the wild
for those who love nature, they’re often beguiled
He’s not really my dad but i’m sort of his child

Pan is really really underestimated he’s one of the most important Greek Gods & Goddesses, He should really be one of the Main 12 Greek Deities.

Nameless Person Didn’t you hear it when he said that Pan does not care for power?

As is the power of nature and the simpler, more wholesome pleasures in life.

If you look at and accept the world for how it is you'll see that everything is actually how it should be. At least as far as a reflection of the state of the world and its (pretty much eternal and unchanging on a mainstream level) values.

Rob Gau

Agreed. I didn't even realize that until a year ago. Ashamed of myself lol. Especially since I love Pan!

Doesn't it seem more likely that Pan would be a child of Gaia than any other god or goddess. Considering his closeness to nature, his humility and lack of power lust. It is known that he is a force to be reckoned with even among the titans which is possible Pan might be a younger brother of.
