In 1995, Pajo started the M franchise, issuing a single and a split single in short order. As Aerial M, he released several singles, a self-titled album and a remix album. As Papa M, he produced three full-length albums, the first of them, Live from a Shark Cage, in 1999.
In 2002, Pajo joined Billy Corgan's Zwan, with whom he released an album and toured the world for two years. It was during this time that he started the Papa M singles series.
Hole of Burning Alms appeared in 2004 - to date, the last Papa M record. This collected Aerial M and Papa M sides to form another long-playing link in the M chain.
Since then, he has recorded as Pajo. His self-titled first release came in the summer of 2005 - a collection of solo recordings made on the road. He then released the home recording 1968, as part of a Pajo trilogy. The final album was Scream With Me, a collection of acoustic Misfits covers. This album was only released on vinyl and download. He has played live as Pajo very sparingly, a few dates dotted around the globe.

Wild Mountain Thyme
Papa M Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
And the leaves are sweetly blooming
And the wild mountain thyme
Grows among the purple heather
Will you go, mama, go
And we'll all go together
To pull wild mountain thyme
All across the purple heather
I will build my love a tower
By yon crystal flowing fountain
And on it I shall pile
All the flowers of the mountain
If my true love will not go
Then I'll surely find another
To pull wild mountain thyme
All across the purple heather
Will you go, sugar, go
And we'll all go together
To pull wild mountain thyme
All across the blooming heather
Will you go, lover, go
I will build my love a shelter
By yon clear mountain stream
And my true love shall be the fairest
That the summer sun has ever seen
And we'll all go together
To pull wild mountain thyme
All across the blurple heather
Will you go, lover, go
The song "Wild Mountain Thyme" by Papa M is a celebration of springtime and the beauty of nature. The lyrics paint a picture of blooming flowers, wild thyme growing among the purple heather, and a crystal flowing fountain. The singer invites their loved one to go with them to pull wild mountain thyme and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings together. However, if their current love interest is unwilling to accompany them, they will find another to join them in the adventure.
The song is filled with poetic imagery that is both descriptive and emotional. The singer's desire to build a tower for their true love, and fill it with flowers from the mountain, is a testament to their deep feelings for the person they are addressing. The repetition of the chorus, "Will you go, (my sweet potato/sugar/lover) go, and we'll all go together, to pull wild mountain thyme, all across the (purple/blooming) heather," adds a sense of urgency and excitement to the invitation.
Overall, "Wild Mountain Thyme" is a joyous celebration of nature and the bonds of love. It captures the beauty of springtime and the desire for companionship and adventure.
