Out There
Parabelle Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

your life is perfect and thrown
you let down your hair and I turn to stone
but at least I know that you're out there
we lie to face all the doubt
of devil lit fires that can’t be put out

but no I concede the look in your eyes
I'm about to take you
and I'm about to wake you up

but at least I know that you're out there
you are out there do you know the reasons why
I love how you're out there
just a little out there where the lights have faded out

keep yourself intact
don’t follow the leaders that follow you back
they just try to explain that you're right here
and your left behind touch
it cuts through the skin
where memory stops, an escape begins

I can’t see the look in your eyes
I'm about to shake you
cuz I'm about to wake you up

but at least I know that you're out there
you are out there do you know the reasons why
I love how you're out there
just a little out there where the lights have faded out

when you're right here
I'll be right here
I believe we're still alive
but you carry on like everything’s gone
and our lights have faded out there

YOU'RE GONE!

but at least I know that you're out there
you are out there do you know the reasons why
I love how you're out there
just a little out there where the lights have faded out

when you're right here
I'll be right here
I believe we're still alive

but you carry on like everything’s gone
and our lights have faded out there(I'm about to wake you up)

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Parabelle's song "Out There" express the singer's admiration for someone who lives life fearlessly and unconventionally. The singer notes that they are sometimes intimidated by this person, but they are grateful to know that they exist. The song seems to be about the ways that we all face doubt and uncertainty, but some people are able to keep going even in the face of these challenges.

The line "don't follow the leaders that follow you back / they just try to explain that you're right here" suggests that the singer sees something special in this person's refusal to conform to the expectations of others. Instead of following the herd, they have found their own path, even if it is a difficult one. The line "where memory stops, an escape begins" might imply that this person is able to transcend the limitations of their own history and circumstances, finding hope and freedom where others might only see despair.

In the chorus, the singer emphasizes that they admire this person for being "out there" - that is, for refusing to be constrained by societal norms or expectations. The line "just a little out there where the lights have faded out" might suggest that the person's unconventional lifestyle has led them to uncharted and risky territory, but the singer sees this as a positive trait rather than a negative one. Overall, the song seems to be a celebration of individuality and the courage it takes to be different in a world that often values conformity above all else.

"your life is perfect and thrown, you let down your hair and I turn to stone" that's a sick opening line

@trophytruckguy04

i think parabelle is awesome, and Evans Blue still kicks ass. i like that they are a little louder than when Kevin was with them. both bands are great and the singer situation turned out fine.

@MarvelVulcan

My favorite track off the album

@VistaVelez

I love that opening line.....

@Bones750

Way to go Kev that was a great song, glad you took it back, hey here is just a little though, maybe you could actually rerecord and finish the stage is set... as a parabelle album, just say that would be awsome

@bigem8241

amazing

@Ijustsmashedyourface

Right on brother.

@julie_nelson55

...This is on Evans Blues' third CD...the one they made but didn't release...

@DotHackKaiser

@Razzoorr10 Dan Chandler sounds okay, and now they're more mainstream and popular than ever. The reason a lot of people think the name should be changed, is because Kevin came up with the name himself, and he made the band. They're a completely different band now, and the issue a lot of people have with them now is all the songs that Kevin wrote about very personal things in his life, Dan is performing them live and butchering them. Kevin wrote every song, I refuse to respect Dan.

@xXshermanaterXx

is it just me, or is all their music perfect for call of duty montages?
