Let the Flames Begin
Paramore Lyrics
What a shame we all became such fragile, broken things
A memory remains, just a tiny spark
I give it all my oxygen, to let the flames begin
To let the flames begin
Oh glory
Oh glory
This is how we'll dance when
When they try to take us down
Somewhere weakness is our strength, and I'll die searching for it
I can't let myself regret, such selfishness
My pain and all the trouble caused, no matter how long
I believe that there's hope
Buried beneath it all and
Hiding beneath it all and
Growing beneath it all and
This is how we'll dance when
When they try to take us down
This is how we'll sing oh
This is how we'll stand when
When they burn our houses down
This is what we'll be, oh glory
Reaching as I sink down into light (To light)
Reaching as I sink down into light (To light)
This is how we dance when
When they try to take us down
This is how we'll sing oh
This is how we'll stand when
When they burn our houses down
This is what we'll be, oh glory

"Somewhere weakness is strength
And I die searching for it"
"But I believe that there's hope
Buried beneath it all
And hiding beneath it all and
Growing beneath it all"
This song is just the best of their album lyrically.

"You made yourself a bed
At the bottom of the blackest hole (Blackest hole)
And you'll sleep 'til May and you'll say
That you don't want to see the sun anymore"
And
"Pain, make your way to me, to me
And I'll always be just so (So) inviting
If I ever start to think straight
This heart will start a riot in me"
And basically the entirety of "We Are Broken." Lyrically I think these are far superior examples of the best of this album.

Letra: Tradução BR
Que vergonha o que nós todos nos tornamos
Tais frágeis coisas quebradas
Uma memória permanece
Apenas uma pequena faísca
Eu dou todo o meu oxigênio
Para deixar as chamas começarem
Então deixe as chamas começarem
Oh, glória, oh, glória
É assim que vamos dançar quando
Quando eles tentarem nos desanimar
É assim que vai ser, oh, glória
Em algum lugar a fraqueza é a nossa força
E eu vou morrer procurando por isso
Eu não posso me lamentar
De tal egoísmo
Minha dor e todos os problemas causados
Não importa quanto tempo
Eu acredito que há esperança
Enterrada por baixo de tudo e
Escondida por baixo de tudo e
Crescendo por baixo de tudo e
É assim que vamos dançar quando
Quando eles tentarem nos desanimar
É assim que vamos cantar, oh
É assim que vamos aguentar quando
Quando eles queimarem nossas casas
É assim que vai ser, oh, glória
Alcançando enquanto eu afundo à luz (à luz)
Alcançando enquanto eu afundo à luz (à luz)
É assim que vamos dançar quando
Quando eles tentarem nos desanimar
É assim que vamos cantar, oh
É assim que vamos aguentar quando
Quando eles queimarem nossas casas
É assim que vai ser, oh, glória
(Versão Ao Vivo)
Oh, Pai, oh, Pai
Oh, Pai, oh, Pai
Pai, bem, eu estou pronta
Você não vai deixar ela começar?
Porque eu estou aqui agora
Eu quero dançar
Na poderosa palma
De suas mãos
Igual a lua nós tomamos emprestado a luz
Eu não sou nada além de uma sombra na noite
Igual a lua nós tomamos emprestado nossa luz
Então deixe sua glória e misericórdia brilharem

My favorite from RIOT! It's honestly one of their best songs lyrically and musically.

@Vardamir03 i literally was going to say that all these lyrics should be painted on the side of a Semi at the trucker protest. "I believe that there is hope buried beneath it all"
Vardamir03
2022 and yeah, can confirm. Canada is wild with the protests now, the emergency act...
