Very lovely work. I adore the cardigan!! The colors really work in that granny square motif. I can see it with red jeans and a black sweater - just gorgeous!!

The shawls are very feminine. So pretty!! I think the Sea Glass yarn will make an amazing shawl - the tweed like portions of it are so nice.

OMGeeee that shawl gorgeous! You’re right the color changes are seamless! Lolol I made a knitted infinity scarf out of the same type of yarn- the color way I have is firecracker! I LOVE the color on you !!! I have a TON of # 4 weight that I need to work through, as well! So glad the surgery is over. I will be praying for quick complete healing. I am inspired by your prayer shawl gifted to someone in need. I did one years ago for my sister while she was going through cancer treatment. I would like to make some in advance because I work 2 jobs and it takes me longer to finish my projects and most people would be past their need by the time I finished! God bless! I hope the kitties are giving you extra love for healing. The bunnies are sending you some from here. Feel better soon. It took me a while to heal when i got my belly fixed from having my son. It was a rough pregnancy and i was super sick, so the only weight i gained was in the last couple months and he was very active. He messed up my muscles and literally broke my belly button. Getting up and down was hard. I don't know what u got, but take care of u.

Pippin slept on my feet every time I stretched out the first week. Now he is back to his normal pain in the rear self. This wasn't bad, but there is a sutures line healing and it is driving me NUTS! I haven't had bad pain or anything with it, but I can't move freely.

It really worked out well for that cardi! I hear that. I started a shawl with latte cakes. Just a basic asymmetrical shawl which is now a prayer shawl for someone very special. My mom’s church made her one using Homespun Thick n Quick and it’s wonderful. It’s a rectangular wrap and straight knitting with fringe. So simple yet very comforting. I want to try and replicate it.

I am not sure... I am sure there are similar shawls, but I don't know one off the top of my head.... I would go to Ravelry and in the advanced pattern search, I would look for eyelets and shawls in the side bar selections. It is a basic common shape so there should be something.

I think your idea of the Small/Medium for you might be a better option too. I was thinking the Carron Cotton cake (not sure which one yet, cotton acrylic blend likely) for a summer coffee time robe would be nice too. I guess I missed where you were going to have surgery. I hope everything is ok?? I had heart surgery on March 29th. I had a heart attack and I had 2 stents put into my “widow maker”. The doctor told me that I was lucky to be alive.

Everything is fine. It was minor surgery but it is a VERY inconvenient one. Everything came back fine though. OMG! How did I miss that!!! I am so glad that you are okay!!! XOXOXOXO!

My daughter had 2 biopsies ystrdy. Usual side effects but doin after day of relaxing and resting..awaiting results.

I had to have 2 biopsies a few weeks back. Those were just annoying. The waiting and the healing just take forever mentally.

How are you doing? I got 3 caron cakes 3 from my cousin 80 acrylic 20 wool normal I prefer 100 acrylic or cotton cause my aid dose my laundry she already goes above and beyond what she suppose to do so I could not ask her hand wash and lay it flat I have no clue what to do with it. I'm leaning toward a wrap or shawl since I get cold it has to be oversized so I can wrap up any ideas please? Stay safe and huge hugs my dear friend. 💋💋💜💜🐶😺

You don't have to wash things like hats, scarves, shawls very often. I would make a shawl with it.
