The band consists of singer-songwriter Stefan Robert, Carlos Arroniz on drums, Javi Bueno on bass and Raúl Parra on lead guitar.
It’s a brilliant album from a band who take influences from the best bands of the late eighties and early nineties with Stefan Roberts vocals carry that Northern Soul grittiness of the Stone Roses and The Charlatans whilst there are also elements of American influences such as the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and REM.
In this album they have fused the best of the British garage and American indie-grunge scenes and the result is an incredibly nostalgic, yet fresh sound (gigslutz.co.uk, June 2015).

"Blood" was the debut single, and if Kasabian indulged in a ballsy-more-bluesy riff driven template, it’s what they could sound like. Yes, I get the Black Keys comparisons, but this is far from being another lazy derivative. It has an explosive, Almerian edge (sonicbreakfast.com, January 2015).

“Blood” is the punchy debut single. It’s a noise-rock track comprised of a catchy guitar riff, steady drum beat and minimal lyrics. The song will appeal to a wide audience with it’s memorable melody throughout and a strong guitar solo mid track. “Blood” is sure to hook fans who will anticipate their near future album release (toxiconline.co.uk, January 2015).

‘Legend’ is your standard filthy rock song filled with bluesy licks and sleazy hooks bringing to mind Megadeth, Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne and at times a subtle hint of Oasis. Heavy, distorted guitars work together with punchy drums and a warm, resonating bass line to make a succinct, groove laden track that is infectious and catchy. The vocals crest high over the music, it’s a commanding presence and vocalist Stefan Roberts’ voice sounds eerily similar to Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine.
‘Legend’ is blatantly old-school but it displays a band who are very assured of their own sound and have mastered that very particular strain of rock and metal which they want to play. As made evident by their new track Parlement know exactly what they’re doing and what they’re doing is playing some cut loose and kick back rock n’ roll (roughonline.co.uk, March 2015).

Spanish rockers, Parlement, are gradually drawing me away from my Damien Rice moon phase that has been active for the past couple days. Are you ready to hop on the R&R train to someplace cool? Good! For Parlement has been described as refreshing rock music similar to the likes of Queens Of The Stone Age, Archie Bronson and even The Black Keys. After listening to their new single – “Legend” – it’s easy to concede to the comparisons. Especially during the solo sections. Rock worth it! (guerillanights.com, April 2015)

Parlement Lyrics

i read the lines to see they'll teach me what i know
i blow your mind until it goes
and here's our king, our number one but no one knows
my summer muse, my summer gold
you hold the future of the one when every little man's been sold
you hold the future of the man that no one knows so stand your ground your rock and roll
there shines a light on every one that puts us right where we belong
my summer muse, my own fools gold
the lines of you, the stories been told
our rocking seeds grow rocking kids
from you i get the kicks the dirty licks the feeling that it fits
for rock and roll
my future burns in the afterglow
the wheel that turns, the wind that blows
my summer muse, she's about to show
she holds the future of the one that is king of rock and roll

Real emotion as he hears "God save the king". Such a contrast, as you're grieving the loss of your parent and also having to start a new role.

I would still be crying. My mum died in 2020 and I am still shook up. If I talk about her, my voice trembles. So this man is fantastic holding back emotions even though you can tell he is still sad.
