This was actually really good for pop music marketed mostly directly at teenyboppers. It actually ended up being much bigger in dance clubs than on the pop charts. Goes to show you don't need to pander to the lowest common denominator to make great teen pop.

How did they not make the top of charts? They were such a better group than they got credit for. Better than the little MMC/ Disney acts that came after them. They were like the Disney prototype for everyone who came after.

I👏used👏to👏be👏obsessed!👏 Listening to this now, I realize that these kids actually had great vocals and the production was actually decent. Sometimes you listen to stuff you lived as a kid and think "why did I like this? Lol" Not this! Still sounds good. Love The Party!

Had to beg my parents to get the Disney Channel growing up, cause If you didn't have the Disney Channel as a kid in the 90's...you missed out on classic shows and performers like The Party! Great memories!

Omg. I am dying over their style and fashion. they wore all the cool clothing that I was too young to wear at that time, because I was a 6th grader at the time. its like looking at my older siblings dress fly all over again, watching this video.

Wow! You weren't kidding about high quality! Was this from the VHS the fan club sold right before it closed up? I wish I still had that VHS! Love this 1991 remix version. It was constantly on the radio that summer, more than the original mix a year earlier.

My song with this background music went "How do you make a pizza place run better? You know you gotta use T.M.S.U.!" (the system was called "TeleMarketing System Ultra.")
