The first is a Canadian singer, producer and composer of electronic dance-pop music that incorporates yogic wisdom. Known for her angelic vocals, positive-possibilities pop, lush soundscapes and catchy dance grooves, Parvati’s music has risen to #2 in the electronic charts in Canada.
Parvati regularly tours to headline and teach at international music and mind/body/spirit festivals globally and has performed at notable venues, such as Madison Square Garden (NYC), Earl’s Court (London) and Club Maria (Berlin).
Through 2013, Parvati is touring her show "YIN: Yoga In the Nightclub" and promoting her critically praised debut self-help book “Confessions of a Former Yoga Junkie” while teaching her unique form of yoga “YEM: Yoga as Energy Medicine”. With crew from Cirque du Soleil, she will tour her show “Natamba” through Asia in 2014.
Parvati has two full-length albums in pre-release: "Natamba" and "YIN: Yoga in the Nightclub", as well as three EPs: "Yoga in the Nightclub", "Sanctified Skin" and "Shanti". She has appeared as a featured artist on Canadian national radio and television, and been on the cover of Cashbox Canada. Parvati's name is Sanskrit and signifies the divine mother goddess.
The second is a now-disbanded black metal band from Greece. It was formed around 1997 and released one demo, "Benighted are the befallen", and one promo.

The lyrics to Parvati’s song “Precious” are a reflection on her personal journey towards self-acceptance and inner peace. The song begins by addressing religious dogma that had been imbued in her since childhood. She was taught that God, a “big man in the sky”, was constantly watching over her, instilling in her a deep-seated fear of doing anything wrong. However, after almost dying eight years ago, she discovered that this belief did not hold true. In her near-death experience, she came to the realization that “all I see is a part of me” and that she loves all things equally. This realization enabled her to let go of the fear she had been carrying for so long, and she found that life is a precious place to be.
Parvati then expresses the vulnerability she felt upon returning to life, questioning who she is and what reality really means. She finds solace in the realization that everyone and everything around her is a part of herself. By loving herself, she can love all things equally, leading to inner peace and ultimately, world peace. The song ends with an invitation to the listener to also find their inner peace, as they too are free and capable of loving all things equally.
In essence, “Precious” is a song about self-love and interconnectedness. By letting go of fear and embracing love for ourselves and others, we can find inner peace and contribute to a more peaceful world.

Tori, plays WAY too hard, while I don't think she's the greatest player, I DO think she's a good person. (From the little we have seen of her)
Maryanne, may be eccentric but that's truly the only person that I could see people "disliking" (I think she wins, even tho she isn't my favorite.)
Lydia, is the only person that I didn't find a connection with. But that I think has more to do with an "early" vote off.
Mike, Hai, Omar, Drea, Jonathan, and Romeo, ARE AMAZING, in my opinion.
Great personalities, great TV, and Omar's game makes this season for me.
This season is alot different but I honestly love it.

At first glance it doesn't like that is same Parvati that dominated Micronesia and Heros vs Villains. However, when you pay closer attention to what is actually happening and not the narrative being presented you realize that Parvati always plays the behind-the-scenes mastermind it's just in Cook Islands the producers didn't even realize it yet. Adam is very similar to Cirie and Russell because Parvati was letting him take the credit and blame for her ideas.

Parvati uses two very important skills to succeed when she plays Survivor: her flirtatious personality and people's underestimation of her. I'm guessing because in her everyday life she is dismissed a lot as just a pretty girl, she has learned to use that to her advantage. She can literally just be friendly to the guys and they will interpret it as flirting which then gets interpreted as interest in them. She then uses this to make the target on herself smaller than others. It's honestly a brilliant way to play the game.

Cooks Islands was loaded with great and memorable players. But even with players like Yul, Ozzy, Candace, Penner, Parvati did show here that she was gonna become one of, if not the greatest player in the second era of Survivor.
