I help my mother, who suffered greatly financially. I think I've travelled farther than an hour from home only 2 or 3 times in the past 5 years. Both times I can think of being weddings for friends. Mostly just spend free time playing video games. I lack any real ambition to make pushes.

Through him I saw how I dont want to live the male life he did, I rebel against the gender norms for men to make money at all costs to provide.

I was in prison when this song came out. I was in a concrete box in the actual middle of no where. My shitty radio would only receive one station, but thank God it was a cool indie rock station. I was introduced to so many cool indie bands that year. Stuff I may never have heard otherwise. I'd sit close to my window with my headphones in listening to 96.1 drawing, and just trying to escape mentally. I made a two page list of all the good music I heard so I could find it all when I got out. It's a time I don't miss or want to go back to. Yet this music somehow.still makes me feel nostalgia toward it.
